What is the use of half an eye?’ and ‘What is the use of half a wing?’ are both instances of the argument from ‘irreducible complexity’. ​

A functioning unit is said to be irreducibly complex if the removal of one of its parts causes the whole to cease functioning. This has been assumed to be self-evident for both eyes and wings. But as soon as we give these assumptions a moment’s thought, we immediately see the fallacy. ​

Some argue this does not belong here, and it should be under Christian only subforum, but I wanted all to see the truth, in hope it leads someone to Christ. And yes, many don't believe this, but people need to hear truth about God, while there still is time. We need to tell people God created them and not compromise on this.

My OP was not an attack on transgender people. We are all sinners, and we all need a Saviour, Lord Jesus Christ, transgender and non-transgender. No one has any advantage, we all need God's mercy. I desire all come to God and be saved, this includes transgender.

Since it is God who created us, it is Him who gave us our identity. Let's read what the Creator has to say

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

God gave us an identity, we are His image bearers. What that means God created us such as we reflect His glory and goodness back to Him, like a mirror reflects our image back to us. But we sinned and sin corrupted this image, it shattered it to pieces. Still, we are an image of God, but a broken one. That's why He sent His Son, to restore us into the image God made.

Our true identity is therefore an image of God. All other identities are false.

And God created two genders, therefore there are only two genders, no matter what anyone says. And it is God who choses the gender, not us. He creates us in whatever gender He choses. We cannot change our gender. We can call ourselves whatever we want, it will never change the reality.

If you are confused today about who you are, the answer is in the Word of God. You were created as a beautiful image of a loving God. God who has no sin in Him, God who choses to be merciful, God who never lies, God who restores what is destroyed. God who despite our constant evil, looks at us in His love and desires no one to die. In His love He sent His only Son to suffer and die on the cross, raised on the third day, that whosoever believes in Him, will not die in sin, but have an everlasting life. Come to Lord Jesus today, and He will restore what the sin has broken.
