One of the shafts in the pyramids in Giza was built to align with Thuban (Alpha Draconis), which was the north star at that time. It no longer aligns with Thuban but now aligns with Polaris (Alpha Ursae Minoris). This is proof that the earth is moving.

Different stars have held the position of the North Star over the millenia because of precession of the earth's axis of rotation.

I live in Australia. Here in the Southern hemisphere we are unable to see all of the Northern constellations. We can't see Polaris at all, but we can see a whole bunch of constellations which cannot be seen by people in the Northern hemisphere

But, even though it may have been called by another name it's still the same north star with the same other stars around it, we look up and see the same set of stars the ancients saw and made buildings in alignment with.
Everyone in the world sees the same set of stars, if we were on a globe there should be at least two distinct fully different sets of stars.
