So my family has a really close friend called Ricky, who for some reason thinks he is a ninja. Yes, you read that right. This man who is in his 50s thinks he is a ninja.
At first I thought it was hilarious. He gave us a lot of laughs, but then he began to tell other people stories of him being a ninja, which is actually embarrassing for me because none of his stories are actually true. He exaggerates them a lot. Most of them are lies. He bragged to my older sister that if Isis ever came after her he would save her! Um...that is really sweet of him, I guess?
But I know he doesn't actually have the training necessary to defend her! That is why this is not a joke and can be dangerous.
I mean, if he really wants to be a ninja I don't see why he can't be one. But lying and exaggerating about it? C'mon.
Do any of you have a strange friend like this? I know of one guy here on CF who thinks he is a Corgi! I always found him to be hilarious as well.
