CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes, non-African people tend to have a lot more genetic material from three other subspecies of humans (Neanderthals, Denisovans, and a yet-unnamed group) than sub-Saharan Africans do. But it's not absolute. Humans are really fond of sharing genes, and so we find some of that in African populations.

Neanderthals had larger skulls and brains than anatomically modern humans. Most of it can be attributed to much greater muscle mass.
But not all of it. There's no evidence that they were dumber than we are.

Ues all nations had that kind of thought for each other. There was slavery in Africa where they enslaved each other and enslaved white people. Of course everyone believed throughout history that others were inferior to them. Then captured enslaved and sold each other like cattle.
Racism is a different matter. Racism exists today among every race and every continent. It is NOT and never has been a uniquely white phenomenon. Every racial group has people who hold racist ideologies toward other races.
Quit trying to make out that white people are somehow unique in these regards. They are not and never have been. Humanity of every race and every nation is guilty of holding other humans as lesser than themselves. It's been in all of our hearts. And even exists today among ALL of humanity of every race and every tribe of every nation.
No America is NOT unique in any fashion. In America we have done everything we can to overcome our own nations failures. Every racial group within its borders still carries some Racism within their group. White people are not special or unique within its group. Stop pretending they are.

Whites aren't unique in that respect. In Europe for example, we see much less racism than we do in America. The economic and historical factors that made America more racist than Europe were not something intrinsic in white people. Racism is dying in America, but it's dying hard. And some are desperately trying to save it. Trump is their hero.

The clip, a parody of "The Lion King," is from an AI-generated video created by a MAGA meme account.
The original video includes other Democratic lawmakers as well, including former President Biden, former Vice President Harris, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

This is much ado about nothing. SO much faux outrage over a meme that had captured a couple of seconds of a following meme. I my gosh, the sky is falling, the world is ending, white people are a plague upon the world and the America has come to an end.
