  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Peace in Christ.

Again, everyone who is living and believing into Him will NOT DIE.... into the age.

This is not about “spiritual death” but about our mortal bodies not dying ever until we reach the last day of this age where then our mortal bodies are changed over into immortal. We are to be preserved whole: body, soul and spirit unto the last day of this age we are currently living in.

Literal Standard Version
John 11:26 and everyone who is living and believing in Me will not die—throughout the age;

Jesus died in the mortal flesh and was raised to life in the mortal flesh so that we might have His life in our mortal flesh. He was made a partaker of flesh and blood (that we all have) so that through His death (in the flesh and blood) He might destroy him that has the power of death. He was resurrected in the mortal flesh....flesh and bone.

Heb 2:14-15 KJV
(14) Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Isn’t it Satan’s ministers who “scare” us into going to a man-based church? They scare us with going to hell for all eternity. And so they (the false prophets) bring us into their bondage of serving their church handwritings of ordinances…where they are serving the sin and perish mortally. We are to be delivered from them who are presently perishing away in their mortal bodies.

(15) And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

After Jesus was resurrected, He appeared to His disciples in FLESH AND BONES. He was not a “spirit” to them. He was resurrected in the mortal body so that we might have life NOW in this mortal body.

Luk 24:36-40 KJV
(36) And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
(37) But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
(38) And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
(39) Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

(40) And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.

He that believes in Him HAS (present tense) an age-lasting life….now in this mortal body.

Joh 6:47 KJV
(47) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath (present tense) everlasting (AGE-LASTING) life.

God has given (PRESENT TENSE) to us an age-lasting life.

1Jn 5: KJV
(10) He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
(11) And this is the record, that God hath given (PRESENT TENSE) to us eternal (AGE-LASTING) life, and this life is in his Son.

(12) He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

We are to know that we have (PRESENT TENSE) an age-lasting life by believing on the name/authority of the Son of God.

(13) These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have (PRESENT TENSE) eternal (AGE-LASTING) life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

These things has John written to us concerning those who seduce us. The false prophets are making it about “spiritual death”. They say we mortally die now but we don’t die spiritually until we are then resurrected at the last day. But this is erroneous. This is of the spirit of error that is leading many to their mortal death. They are not preaching a LIVING hope....just a dying on.

We have age-lasting life NOW in this mortal body.

1Jn 2:24-26 KJV
(24) Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
(25) And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal (AGE-LASTING) life.

(26) These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.

We are to be begotten again unto a LIVING HOPE....not a dying one as being universally preached now. Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead already and is alive now so that we might have His life now. He already mortally died for us...in our place...so that we do not have to die but have His resurrected life now in this mortal body.

1st Peter 1:13
Literal Standard Version
Blessed [is] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to the abundance of His kindness begot us again to a living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ out of the dead

If Christ is truly raised from the dead now, then we should have His resurrected life now. We only “die” to sin with Him so that we LIVE now through Him as He is alive now. We are to be "dead" unto sin, but ALIVE now unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Rom 6:8-11 KJV
(8) Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
(9) Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
(10) For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

(11) Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

He has "abolished" death...that is, He has rendered it idle for us now.

2Ti 1:9-10 KJV
(9) Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

(10) But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
