CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

As the moon landings have nothing whatsoever to do with salvation, how is that relevant?

Just posting examples (-3-) in The Bible where the majority was never in the right. But i would not expect globe earth believers to believe this, as it does not line up with their science beliefs.

I would not expect you to answer my post about there being more Christians than JWs, or indeed reply to this one, to clarify or apologise.

It was NOT "a bad moment".
It was beautiful to hear how moved you were by Charles' testimony. It was courageous of you to say "I think Flat Earth is a load of nonsense", and some of us told you that we admired you for that. We said that we admired your decision to accept the earth is a globe and to ask for God's help if ever you started to doubt it. People who know more about science than I do offered to help you and explain stuff.
Not only have you gone back on your word to God, you've gone back to slandering a lovely Christian - Charles - and throwing the offers of help back in the faces of the people who made them.
You can't even understand that. You are saying that asking for God's help with something was "bad decision."
Apart from becoming a Christian, it was probably the best decision you had ever made. And now you're rubbishing it.

But you said that you "hand on heart" believed every word of his testimony.
So, either you were lying. Or you DID, honestly believe him and in a globe earth - for about 2 weeks. Personally, I believe that that was the case. After that time you went onto YouTube again and saw lots of suggestions for Flat Earth clips. NOT because God was showing you the truth, but because the computer knew that you were interested in clips that "debunked" Flat Earth and so it suggested more of the same.
It was your computer leading you away from your statement that you believed in a globe earth. You went onto YouTube, were led into temptation, and fell.
All you had to do was to ask God for help and the strength to help you resist - as you had said that you would.
Let's get this clear: believing that the earth is flat is not a sin. Accepting that the earth is a globe is not a sin. It is not necessary for salvation, doesn't help us to know God, is not taught in the Bible and doesn't mean that we believe/disbelieve the Bible.
But saying that you would ask God to help you with something then not doing that, is a sin.
Saying that a Christian man, a child of God and someone who is telling dozens of people about Jesus, is a liar, may well be a sin.
Writing threads, and past after post, on here which imply that Christians who don't share your flat earth beliefs and which become rude and judgmental may well be a sin. They get you banned for breaking the rules of the site, so I don't know what God thinks about them.
Believe that the earth is flat and the moon landings were faked if you want to.
But if you post on a discussion website, you should be prepared for discussion. That could well mean discussion with people who know more about the subject that you do. You "can't get your head around" science and you don't trust scientists/think they are all part of some cover up. Again, your choice.
But it's a belief. Most people in the world know that you're wrong.

He doesn't actually care what you believe about the shape of the earth, by the way. He will be gloating because you said you would ask for God's help and then didn't. AND that you call God's own children "liars".
In the Bible, who is described as being the accuser of the brethren? Revelation 12:10.
What have you said about the astronauts who walked on the moon and took photos of the globe earth? That they are LIARS.
You are, and have been, accusing the Christian astronauts (your Christian brothers and sisters - ie brethren) of lying.

Another example where man takes man's word over God's guidance God gave through Paul. In which again the majority was in the wrong.
Now when much time had been spent, and sailing was now dangerous because the Fast was already over, Paul advised them, saying, “Men, I perceive that this voyage will end with disaster and much loss, not only of the cargo and ship, but also our lives.” Nevertheless the centurion was more persuaded by the helmsman and the owner of the ship than by the things spoken by Paul. And because the harbor was not suitable to winter in, the majority advised to set sail from there also, if by any means they could reach Phoenix, a harbor of Crete opening toward the southwest and northwest, and winter there.
I guess it will take like the ship being wrecked, before people will believe God's true creation account given in The Bible.
Maybe when a star hits a globe earther on the head they will see God's true creation.
