Bethel School of Technology

Brother, as someone who lives close to Redding, Bethel is notorious. And that's not a good thing. Here's just a few recent headlines:



Even before these scandals, I had secondhand info from my sister about how twisted their beliefs are. She went to a couple services once just to see what all the hype was about when they were at their peak. She said people were crawling around on the floor making animal noises because they believed they were touched by the Holy Spirit, people thought they were seeing angel feathers fall from the ceiling, others would walk circles around the room and would collapse and fall on the ground whenever they passed the same spot in the room.

I don't know about you but none of that sounds holy to me. Beyond that, there's no way Bethel has a descent or reputable technology program. You're much more likely to find professional success just getting an IT certificate from my local community college, which wouldn't call much. But you would know the certifications are credible and you'd have no trouble finding employment.

Good advice. I'd heed it.
