  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

A theologically liberal California church says that hundreds of people attended its recent workshop on how to respond to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

All Saints Church of Pasadena, an Episcopal congregation that normally has 500 to 600 Sunday worship attendees, held a “Community Patrols Training” event on Monday.

If they want to protest, that's their right. If they want to interfere with law enforcement, it is not. Renee Good and Alex Pretti would probably be alive today if they had not been trying to obstruct ICE from doing their job, and if the so-called protestors were not trying to create an environment of chaos and confusion around ICE everywhere they go.

Thats the problem. The churches are becoming political centers and not churches. All this training and indoctrination of secular ideologies is undermining the church.

The church should stay right out of politics. As soon as they get involved they become just another identity group in a cesspool of identity groups all pitting against each other and the opposition. It tarnishes Christs church with controversy and fighting and most of all division.

Where there is division Christ cannot be.
