Even if something tangible materialises out of this process, I doubt it will survive more than a decade or two before hostilities break out again. Probably far shorter.

I don't fault Trump. This place is a hotbed for conflict since the ancient times, and too much blood has spilled.

Considering the amount of slave labour and death Dubai has been and is being built upon, I don't think that's a worthy example to emulate.

Not that this will actually materialise. Without a clear roadmap on how to achieve this or a detailed plan on how to pay for it or how to protect it from new violence, these are just pretty pictures.

What Gaza needs is a plan on how to curb the violence, not just a nice skyline.

He warned a lack of compliance would bring “serious consequences.”

This is what leadership looks like and the world is following - some complaining, but they are following

Trump has brought together generational enemies and they are sitting on a Board of Peace

The UN has been talking about brining peace in the Middle East for decades - but little to no action.

The countries in Europe who will complain about the how - will be among the first to benefit from these actions

The Abraham Accord will be expanded and strengthened.

The media will either ignore it - or do as they have in the past years - degrade, accuse and disavow.

The antichrist will also bring a peace, but it will be a false peace (and no, Trump is not the antichrist).

Trump does not care about peace, he only cares about himself.

Yes, cancer has always been a thing even when you were young. Back then, it was usually a death sentence if surgery didn't get it all.

As @loveofourlord mentioned above, cancer is a category of disease rather than a single malady. Yes, there are known (and surely unknown) carcinogens in food and in the environment.

The original Gazans won't be able afford it.

That's "Gentrification" Middle East version. At least in the USA, the process is more civilized. They buy people out. In Gaza, you drive people out with bombs and systemic oppression.

UAE is different circumstances. UAE citizens are rich to begin with.

Gazans are poor. So turning Gaza into high cost of living hell will permanently drive the original Gazans out. Trump is not improving things for the Gazans, he's driving them out permanently and this outright oppression/persecution of the poor.
