  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

S-s-so c-c-cold outside, even here in Alab-b-ama. P-p-please God, bring the Spring. Heck, I'll even take Summer. Just make the c-c-cold stop already. :dead:

Because of that, I am having to wear thick clothing all the time, even at home I have to wear these blanket like things that look like long robes just to keep warm. I am starting to HATE it.

I mean, I have enjoyed this past autumn and now winter (to a certain extent), but I am ready for some warmer weather now!

I hate winter too. I used to like winter moderately, but not anymore. Can't bear it anymore. I know I must change my attitude before winter arrives (it's SUMMER here). When winter arrives, I must change my attitude.

I know I must learn to accept all seasons as they are.

Bring on summer!

Up until the last week or so winter was tolerable. But today... It's been sleeting since just after noon, the ground is covered. Supposed to be 12 tomorrow morning, down to -1 by Monday morning. Faucets have to drip. Sleet and snow through Sunday AM. This is something we rarely had prior to 5-6 years ago, now it's at least every other year. Not fun. At all. I dread winter nowadays.

100° can't come soon enough. :sweat:
