  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

See minute 12:05 of the video. The AZ AG says Arizonans can legally shoot and kill ICE agents, if they can't properly be recognized as officers.

What if they’re a well regulated militia?

I ask because I still have yet to have a single person explain to me how this whole 2A thing works if you can’t actually use guns against an oppressive government.

Yeah or they know they’d have a bloody mess on their hands if they approached Texans the same way they’re approaching Minnesotans. It’s the same reason they’ve conveniently avoided conducting their operations in any known gang territory around the country. They’re not dumb. They know where they’ll be met with armed resistance.
Based on recent reports from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), there has been a major increase in the arrest of gang members, with over 7,000 arrested in the first year of the Trump administration's second term (beginning roughly early 2025)
. These operations target foreign nationals involved in violent gangs, including MS-13, Tren de Aragua (TdA), and the Latin Kings. Source:Google

Daily ICE arrests in Texas have jumped from an average of 85 per day during the final 18 months of the Biden Administration to 176 per day in the first six months under Trump, according to a Tribune analysis.

I think it's the other way around.

ICE fears the Texans!

Leave the agents ALONE. This is ridiculous. We have unhinged people being arreated and other unhinged people trying to prevent the arrest. No wonder the agents felt like they were besieged. And now we have politicians telling them they should go inside their building? Why? So the mob can control the streets? What on earth is going on in America where people think they can put a LE building under siege, attack officers, actively try and prevent officers from making arrests. These are not the actions of a civilized society, but the actions of anarchist mobs.

Keep digging that ditch of denial.

...now do the ratio of Federal resourcs assigned to illegal immigrant population -- Minneapolis vs Houston, for example.

I'm sure there's nothing to see here.....your Federal government ignoring the 4th Ammendment....

A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) memo issued in May authorizes agents to enter the homes of those suspected of being in the U.S. illegally with an administrative warrant -- not a warrant signed by a judge -- in order to make immigration arrests, according to a whistleblower group, which says it has shared the "secretive" memo with Congress.

"Although the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has not historically relied on administrative warrants alone to arrest aliens subject to final orders of removal in their place of residence, the DHS Office of General Counsel has recently determined that the U.S. Constitution, the Immigration and Nationality Act, and the immigration regulations do not prohibit relying on administrative warrants for this purpose," the May 12, 2025, memo signed by Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons stated, according to the anonymous whistleblower complaint, which included a copy of the memo.

I'm the wrong guy to ask. Not even a gun owner, though I've been eyeballing the CZ 75 B.

You certainly can use the guns against an oppressive governement. The governement can also fight back with their guns. If you are going to do that, you better have a very large civilian militia behind you before you do that.

And you had better be prepared to face criminal charges if you are not killed in the conflict.

Americans will defend themselves against an oppressive government. The problem is many Ameticans do not believe that picking up illegals is oppressive. They believe it's the governments duty to do that and enforce the laws passed by a duly elected government we the People chose.

Remember when the right was up in arms over Biden suggesting their weapons would be no match against the US military and its fighter planes?

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Well they also had one big guy on the inside but he also doesn’t have much of a follow through game.

Never thought I’d be thanking goodness for Mike Pence.

I agree. Thats why I said what I said. In order for taking up arms against the governement to work, you will need a lot more than just few libs shooting at ICE agents in order to gain support. An awful lot of Americans wouldn't support such actions. Look what happened to the J6ers. They weren't all armed with guns of course. Imagine if they had been. What kind of uproar would have happened then?

Yes, we who support the 2nd Ammendment fully support taking up arms against an oppressive, tyrannical government. But the majority don't believe the government is and certainly enforcing immigration laws do not remotely count in that category.

But as you have seen in the other thread (which I think you started), the DHS lies to you. From here: Federal jury rejects Bovino murder plot after attorney calls on panel to 'stop the overreaching government'

'The original criminal complaint cited a “source of information,” now known to be 44-year-old Adrian Jimenez, who called Espinoza Martinez a “ranking member of the Latin Kings.” A Homeland Security press release also called Espinoza Martinez a “Latin Kings gang member.”

But earlier this month, First Assistant U.S. Attorney Jason Yonan and Assistant U.S. Attorney Minje Shin acknowledged they would not try to prove Espinoza Martinez’s gang membership at trial.'

Espinoza Martinez is one of 31 known defendants charged in Chicago’s federal court with non-immigration crimes tied to the Trump administration’s aggressive deportation campaign last fall. With Thursday’s acquittal of Espinoza Martinez, 15 of them have now been cleared. At least three of those dismissals resulted from so-called “no bills,” whereby a grand jury found insufficient evidence or probable cause to return an indictment. That was virtually unheard of until recently.

Charges against the remaining 11 defendants were dropped for various other reasons. None of the cases have led to a conviction so far.'

You passed the point where you could trust anything this administrations tells you a long time back. They literally lie to you.

It’s hard to prove that someone is a gang member but you’re right that this is unusual. The Feds usually won’t take a case unless it has no chance of losing

The question I guess you and others have to ask is why they are lying to you.
