CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Bondi announced the arrest of Nekima Levy Armstrong in a post on X. Protesters on Sunday entered the Cities Church in St. Paul, where a local official with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement serves as a pastor, chanting “ICE out” and “Justice for Renee Good,” referring to the 37-year-old mother of three who was fatally shot by an ICE officer in Minneapolis.

18 U.S.C. § 248, also known as the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, prohibits the use of force, threats of force, and physical obstruction to intentionally injure, intimidate, or interfere with individuals seeking to obtain or provide reproductive health services. It also protects individuals exercising their First Amendment rights at places of worship. The Act was enacted in 1994 and aims to ensure safe access to clinics and places of worship. Violations can result in fines and imprisonment, with penalties increasing for repeat offenses.

I was just coming to post this. He approved 2 but not Lemon.
The magistrate judge did sign off on the two arrests that Bondi had announced, but would not approve charges against Lemon.
CBS News’ article reported that Bondi was “enraged at the magistrate’s decision,” according to “a source familiar with the matter.”

Yes. The who. With the Trump DOJ, it's not what was done, but rather who done it.
If they are everything Trump, then they get a pass.
Kind of like Trump pardoning his supporters on multiple occasions.

The protesters enter a full church - 1:30 seconds later - the church is all but empty - they didn't all leave for the buffet - they were intimidated out of a house of worship. And that is illegal.

If the church is all but empty then they didn't obstruct the entrance preventing people from entering or leaving.
