There is nothing wrong with working in the law enforcement, see Luke 3:14. If you find that illegal immigrants should be left alone, then the law has to change to make immigration legal in all circumstances. As long as this didn't happen, a law enforcer has to enforce the law and arrest illegal immigrants.David Easterman must make a choice, his job or his Lord.
Therefore, you are using your energy in the wrong place: Be militant for a change of the law, if you don't like the law, but leave the people working in the law enforcement alone! Or what, should you dictate law enforcement which laws they should enforce and which laws they shouldn't? Don't you think that your nation will sink in lawlessness and corruption when the current popular mood should dictate which laws should be enforced and which laws shouldn't?
Actually all the nations in the world have anti immigration laws. So what do you suggest? Abolish all these laws to make the world a gigantic nation where everyone could freely live everywhere? But haven't God determined “the boundaries of the dwellings” of the nations (Acts 17:26)? Then it is God's will that there are nations with boundaries, which also implies that these nations set boundaries to protect themselves, among others, against uncontrolled immigration. Or do you think it alright if your neighbor would go inside your house without you letting him in? I mean, he has no criminal conviction and he is behaving well, so he could stay to live at your home without your permission, right? Wait, he is now calling his cousin to tell him how great your house is, so that he would come as well to live here. I believe that you would not agree with this scenario, would you? But then why should people come in your nation without the permission of your nation and not be arrested and deported? Why this double standard?
