And none of them equate supporting law enforcement as something that makes one a goat.
I wasn’t referring to MN; I was just interpreting Matthew 25:35.

Wow, imagine a pastor caring about law and order and the safety of his fellow citizens. How terribleThat is one odd juxtaposition.
A Pastor, who follows the teachings of one who bestowed taking care of the least of us.
Who fellows the teachings of someone who he himself was a refugee, is a member of ICE.
ICE, an org whose actions make the Pharisees look like rank amateurs.
As the pastor stated to Lemon, the protestors weren't interested in talking or hearing, they were only interested in disrupting and shouting down anyone that stood against them. That's why when the churchgoers finally made their escape, the protestors remained there chanting smugly: "WHO shut this down? WE shut this down!"I watched this on YouTube and believe the protester was 100% in the wrong. What stood out most, however, was the behavior of the Christians in the church, especially the pastor.
In my view, the best approach would have been from a Christian perspective. When these individuals entered the church, they could have been welcomed, invited to sit in the pew, and then everyone could pray for Mrs. Good, her family, and the nation as a whole. While it's likely that the protesters might not have listened, at least the Christians could say that they responded in accordance with how Jesus would have acted, even if their offer was rejected.
Throughout history, churches have faced invasions and attacks by non-believers in many regions worldwide, including India, Pakistan, Myanmar, and Iran. Incidents like the one in MNs are not isolated; similar challenges occur globally every week.
Most often, when that happens, pastors and congregations do not behave the way these Christians did yesterday. Instead, they welcome the stranger, welcome the soldier who came to harm them, invite them to sit and pray with them, and pray for them. In many testimonies around the world, we know of brutal soldiers who came to church with violent intentions, but not only changed their minds, but they also accepted Christ. These are the types of testimonies we hear from those oppressed regions. I wonder what testimonies we have from yesterday.

Well for one i would not walk across the street to hear these people speak. So their take on the sheep and goats judgment carries no weight with me.
The context plainly states that this happens when Jesus returns and with this being after Matthew 24. It can be seen this return is the return Jesus at the end of the tribulation.
“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.

THE SETTING FOR THE JUDGMENT OF THE NATIONS
Matthew 25:31-46 describes a future judgment beginning with this scene: “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.”9 It is important to note that this event occurs immediately after Jesus’ return to the earth, as signaled by the phrase, the Son of Man comes in His glory. In comparing this expression with Dan 7:13-14 and Matt 24:29-31, we see that this scenario refers to Christ’s return to the earth to establish God’s kingdom.
This eschatological timing is also evidenced by the contextual flow of Matthew chapters 24 and 25 which serve as a unit, commonly referred to as the Olivet Discourse. These chapters feature Jesus’ response to the apostles’ questions posed in 24:310 and provide detailed information of Daniel’s seventieth week, also known as the Tribulation period. Jesus concludes the Olivet Discourse with the description of the judgment of Gentile Tribulation survivors in verses 31-46 of Matthew 25.
THE IDENTITY OF THOSE JUDGED
As seen in v 31, the prelude to this appraisal of the nations is the enthronement of Jesus as Judge. Then, according to vv 32-33:
The word for nations can also be translated Gentiles.11 In fact, Biblically, from the time of Abraham onward, the nations have referred to Gentiles. It is also important to understand that the nations always refer to people who are concurrently alive on the earth.12 Since Jesus’ return follows the Tribulation period,13 this judgment of the nations, then, is an assessment of Gentiles who survive that horrific seven-year period.

-I am sorry i am not going to debate Bible doctrine with an unbeliever
Journalism still, so far, is not illegal in this country. Covering protests is part of the job.Don Lemon joins anti-ICE protesters storming Minnesota church service in chaotic scenes as stunned pastor blasts 'unacceptable' stunt
A left-wing mob stormed a Minnesota church to protest Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), stopping services and leaving worshippers furious.
Protesters interrupted Sunday service at Cities Church in St Paul, angrily demanding 'ICE out' and accusing a senior leader of the church of working with the agency.
The pastor handled things commendably, getting the men of his congregation to take their families to safety, while ensuring the trespassers didn't cause harm to them.I'm not taking the side of the protesters; most likely they wouldn't listen anyway. However, that's not my main point. My point is that, throughout the world, there are more regions where Christians face persecution. Almost every Sunday, churches are invaded by nonbelievers.
Testimony after testimony from these churches recounts the remarkable acts of God: soldiers came with the intention to harm, but were instead invited in, prayed with, and ultimately departed peacefully. Others share that soldiers arrived planning violence but, moved by the experience, repented and embraced Christianity.
You sound like the proverbial person on their roof in the flood, refusing everything the Lord sent to help. We have security in Christ for our eternal lives, and for his will to be done on earth. That doesn't mean to be stupid and not use the gifts and tools he gives us to keep ourselves safe from those who mean to do worldly harm to us and those we are charged with the protection of.Your next post highlights what is wrong with American Christianity. You want security arrangements in the church, you want security cameras in the church, but the greatest security is faith in Christ.

well from the article itself , John C writes
As mentioned earlier, “the great majority of scholars understand ‘the least of these brothers of mine’ to refer to all who are hungry, distressed, and needy,”26 while other commentators limit “My brethren” to believers in Christ,27 and a few specify the identification as Jewish believers in Christ during the Tribulation period.28
In other words, John is saying that most Bible scholars interpret these verses as referring to those who are hungry and thirsty, while others, like himself, believe they describe Jewish believers.
Matt 25;35 is not an isolated teaching of taking care of the poor and blow verse has nothing to do with “ brothers”
• Matthew 5:7 — Blessed are the merciful.
• Matthew 5:42 — Give to the one who begs from you.
• Matthew 19:21 — Sell possessions and give to the poor.
• Luke 3:10–11 — Share food and clothing with those in need.
• Luke 6:30–31 — Give to everyone who asks; treat others as you wish to be treated.
• Luke 6:35–36 — Be merciful as your Father is merciful.
• Luke 10:33–37 — The Good Samaritan (show mercy and care for the suffering).
• Luke 12:33 — Sell possessions and give to the needy.
• Luke 14:12–14 — Invite the poor, crippled, lame, blind.
• Luke 16:19–31 — The rich man condemned for ignoring a starving beggar (Lazarus).
-Well i am not arguing against believers being kind to the poor,etc.. But that simply was not what the other poster was making a point about. He plainly did not understand the verses in Matthew 25 he was using. And was just using The Bible to push his political view point.
What Don Lemon is claiming is that we have the constitutional right to barge in on church services, weddings, funerals etc. That the constitution grants such entitlement.
The ‘journalist’ brought it in and then became part of it by his cornering the pastor and interrogating him.Journalism still, so far, is not illegal in this country. Covering protests is part of the job.
This level of bias is hard to address. ICE is upholding the constitution and enforce federal laws. Ask Barack Hussein Obama who gave national award and recognition to Tom Holman for doing EXACTLY what he is doing today. So the Church was targeted for collaborating with ICE's unconstitutional reign of terror?
The video showing him meeting with (even kissing) the leaders of the illegal protest at a staging area. How did Don Lemon know about this?
Oh, baloney. The pastor talked willingly to Lemon who was reporting on the situation as journalists are wont to do. Lol, "interrogating"The ‘journalist’ brought it in and then became part of it by his cornering the pastor and interrogating him.

That's why thousands of DOJ Civil Rights Division lawyers have quit! The division refuses to investigate the ICE victim but instead goes after the reporter? This is more Orwellian stuff from the most Orwellian administration!![]()
