  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A counterprotester briefly faces off with protesters as crowd diminishes

A counterprotester antagonized some of the demonstrators near the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building on Thursday morning.

“We executed one of you yesterday,” the counterprotester said.

The protesters’ response: “Don’t feed the trolls.”

‘We executed one of you yesterday’: Michigan CEO steps down after protest

A Bay City man seen in a viral video shouting at protesters in Minneapolis in the aftermath of the death of Renee Nicole Good has since resigned as CEO from a southeast-Michigan company.

Jayden Scott announced on his LinkedIn account Saturday, Jan. 10, that he was resigning as CEO of Harmony Investment Group, a Troy-based private health care firm.

“With recent developments in America, the board and I have decided, we have different views of the future of America."

Also in the video, Scott referred to the protesters as terrorists, and called for more “patriots.”

“We need the backup,” he said.

He can always work for ICE if he is not too overweight.
I'm not sure that their screening would notice:

Somehow, despite never submitting any of the paperwork they sent me—not the background check or identification info, not the domestic violence affidavit, none of it—ICE had apparently offered me a job.
According to the application portal, my pre-employment activities remained pending. And yet, it also showed that I had accepted a final job offer and that my onboarding status was “EOD”—Entered On Duty, the start of an enlistment period. I moused over the exclamation mark next to “Onboarding” and a helpful pop-up appeared. “Your EOD has occurred. Welcome to ICE!”
The reporter is a Afghanistan vet with the 82nd Airborne and has written enough pieces critical of Trump, ICE, etc. that she has a page on "AntifaWatch". I suspect they didn't do a background search on her.

Okay so some guy lost his marbles and went on an unhinged tirade.

Harmony Investment Group is a small private Michigan-based company. So don't be too impressed by the CEO title.
