Hi there I'm new here...I have a good question..who is the redeeme r of the fatherless? Honestly I don't think it's God or jesus..please explain ??!!

In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The author of Proverbs doesn't specify, as you have observed. My study Bibles suggest the following as options: 1) a human king or other ruler who can step in when there's no kinsman-protector; or 2) God, who in many places in Scripture is portrayed as the protector of the defenseless. One of my Bible translations capitalizes "Guardian" ("they have a powerful Guardian who will take up their cause against you", 23:11 REB), indicating that that particular translator favors the interpretation of the Guardian (Redeemer) being God.

A great question and one I never considered before. I would lean to a double meaning here. "he will plead their cause" suggests Jesus not Father God, because the Jesus is the one who pleads are cases, not the Father? Possible too the redeemer is the dead father's nearest male relative.

Of I'm honest I looked up in the proverbs what is the truth that will set me free and it said Do not move an ancient landmark or enter the fields of the fatherless,

I feel like the prodigal son that has been resisting against the system
And feel sad because I want to talk to him eye to eye and ask for a job and a better life where live I feel like an orphan living in jail and I love the redeeme r
but I want a job like that song give me a deal give me security I want to be a working man that Sep arates himself to have milk or honey day or night and herb for my wine and honey for my my strong drink and work a good job not just a freeloader but I'm getting sad and I'm sick of sinning and I want to make him proud and my mother proud and read my proverbs daily and I don't want no hard drugs or alcohol and like tha t plan is great

One of the answers can be found in Psalm 68:4-5 where the the short form of the name of God, YHWH, is tied to this:
Sing to God, sing praises to His name;
Lift up a song for Him who rides through the deserts,
Whose name is Yah, and exult before Him.
A father of the fatherless and a judge for the widows,
Is God in His holy habitation.

2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
4 The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries
7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.
So again it says there may be a Lord of the Lord

That's easy .. you have to check the Hebrew for that - the English translation just won't bring the understanding.
Psalm 68:28 uses the word 'elohim' - that's a word literally meaning something like 'mighty ones' (plural). It could refer to YHWH, to heavenly beings, to human judges. That's why it can be used for more than one being; it doesn't always refer to YHWH.
Psalm 110:1 is a different case, that verse uses YHWH as a personal name and 'my master/lord' (adoni). So YHWH is speaking to the master of David, which is the Messiah - literally YHWH speaking to His Messiah.
No confusion left.

I am still very confused about this redeemer! If Christ is God and the redeeme r of the fatherless is not him who is he? Meaning the redeemer...I'm looking for an honest answer...What is desired in a man is kindness and a poor man is better than a liar....who cares enough to Tell me just the one who loves

TLDR: this Proverb is a warning for the reader; fear the Lord.
“Speak not in the ears of a fool: For he will despise the wisdom of thy words. Remove not the old landmark; And enter not into the fields of the fatherless: For their redeemer is mighty; He shall plead their cause with thee.”
Proverbs 23:9-11 KJV
Redeemer (go’el) means: Kinsmen-protector; avenger; restorer of inheritance.
It starts with the fool in verse 9, someone who mocks truth & rejects wisdom. Verse 10 shifts from speech to conduct; don’t exploit what God has established. Do not exploit others. Do not trespass on their inheritance. Verse 11, the vulnerable may have no earthly defender but they have a heavenly one. You will face God directly; he will take their case against you. This is why the fool is contrasted with the righteous. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom - the righteous fear God & respect the weak.

Let me ask you this. If Jesus walked the Earth today, spoke to you in parables like he did then, would you believe? Most of us would like to say yes but faith is a fickle discipline. The Lord visits you in a way that shapes you, not in way that satisfies your curiosity. Chances are he’s already spoken to you but you’ve written him off as echos of your own imagination.
“and after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.”
1 Kings 19:12 KJV
The Redeemer does visit you, just not in ways you imagine him too. His word speaks to you; providence arranges your footsteps; fellowship strengthens you; discipline refines you - these are not metaphors but modes of his presence. You are not being ignored, you are being molded.
“And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD.”
1 Samuel 3:21 KJV
The Lords goal isn’t to impress you - it’s to develop a relationship with you. For you to trust him as your Father & that requires a kind of presence from the inside out.
