  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Misspelled Minnesota day care closed last week, state claims — on same day owners told The Post it’s up and running

Yes, the non profit, Feeding Our Future, masterminded by Amiee Bock. This is old news from 2021. I guess it is way to inconvenient to mention her in anyones article. But I get it now. The vilification of immigrants is the true goal here.
Aimee Bock and Salim Said have been convicted of fraud. These are other investigations

After a six-week trial, Bock was convicted on four counts of wire fraud, one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, one count of bribery, and one count of conspiracy to commit federal programs bribery. Said was convicted on one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, four counts of wire fraud, one count of conspiracy to commit federal programs bribery, eight counts of bribery, one count conspiracy to commit money laundering and five counts of money laundering.

Besides the massive Feeding Our Future case, Minnesota is currently facing a much broader "fraud crisis" in its social services, with federal and state investigations targeting widespread, staggering fraud in Medicaid, child care, and other programs, potentially involving billions in stolen taxpayer money funneled to various entities, including individuals in Somali communities and other businesses like home health providers, with new charges and raids occurring regularly in late 2025

That's not David -

The Feds are now involved.

You're welcome
Unfortunately, the past vindictive actions of this administration mean that "the feds are now involved" is an essentially meaningless statement now. Perhaps they have reason to be involved. Or perhaps the President or one of his cronies has directed their involvement for PR purposes.

Nope. Its the villification of a certain group of immigrants who have been involved in massive fraud, stealing taxpayer money. Seems to be a problem in the Somali community. And money rhat ends up in tge hands of terrorist organizations. I guess this is what happens when you allow people in from areas that are rife with criminal activity.

The Trump administration has said it is freezing child care funds to all states until they provide more verification about the programs in a move fueled by a series of fraud schemes at Minnesota day care centers run by Somali residents.

Unearthed surveillance exposes how parents were allegedly involved in Minnesota's daycare fraud scheme

As federal authorities investigate reports of massive fraud taking place in Minnesota daycares, an unearthed video from a 2018 fraud case shows parents and providers involved in a fraud scheme dating all the way back to 2015.
The video, taken from a local Fox report from 2018, shows parents checking their children into a daycare center in Hennepin County, Minnesota, only to leave with their children minutes later.
The video was taken from a surveillance camera as part of a case prosecuted by Hennepin County, according to the 2018 Fox 9 report. Under the scheme, low-income parents would sign in their children for daycare services so that providers could then claim reimbursement for services that were never truly provided, per Fox 9. The outlet said that, according to surveillance video, some days no families would show up, but that the daycares would claim reimbursements from the government nonetheless.

Minnesota GOP lawmakers cite Constitution in call for Walz to resign over fraud crisis

Several Republican lawmakers in Minnesota released a statement officially calling on the state's Democratic governor, Tim Walz, to resign in light of the unfolding fraud scandal that has spiraled during his tenure.

"Minnesotans have been watching the fraud crisis get worse and worse for years. It has gone on long enough," Minnesota state Senators Bill Lieske and Nathan Wesenberg, along with state Reps. Marj Fogelman, Drew Roach and Mike Wiener, said in a Monday press release.

"This is not about politics or stunts, and we do not make a call like this lightly. The office of the governor deserves respect, and we have tried to give Gov. Walz time to act."
