  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Apparently, she has been slowly moving towards the right for a long time.

Interesting. A MAHA-trans nexus of political orienting.

This is a sign that people are struggling to even grasp the truly consequential issues politics needs to address, and instead are mainly vibing.

Apparently, she has been slowly moving towards the right for a long time.

I like how the article refers to it as a "descent into MAGA" lol.

Just a bit of bias there I would say.

Basically, what that's saying is:

"She was totally rational and level-headed, and someone young women of color could look up to, when she was twerking and singing about needing a six-figga-{word for Black people that rhymes with figga that I'm not allowed to say}, and singing about her wet genitalia with Cardi B... but now she's in favor of lower taxes, strong borders, and is pro-police??? oof, I dunno you guys, it seems like she's gone off the deep end"

And then they use the loaded language of "despite starting her career by building a large LGBT audience, has now cozied up to Trump" ...you mean the guy who appointed the first openly gay cabinet member in US history?

I think people need to gain at least a little bit of perspective here.

Maybe she'll be "moving" back to Trinidad?

Is that petition some sort of "self-own" or something?

"If a person or people have the capacity to change the culture in ways I don't like, it's best to get them out of here" sounds like the kind of reasoning that people flat-out reject when it's going in the other direction.

I think they just don't like Nicki Minaj. But I agree, it's stupid and mean to deport people just because you are afraid they might change the culture.

Interchangeable black rapper gals?
wasn't Nicki in the remix version of that "wet" song with Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion?
