•he said that Trump posed a threat to American democracy.
•In 2017 he said he believed Trump was “mentally unfit” to serve as president
Well, Donald did claim the election was stolen. And his own vice president said that was not true, plus the Supreme Court with a conservative majority . . . partly chosen by Donald . . . said there was not sufficient evidence of a stolen election. And federal judges threw it out . . . at the end of Donald's four years, then, during which time he could have arranged to have federal judges he considered to be legitimate.
He had four years to get federal judges and to make the elections secure. And yet, he's saying the election was not secure.
I understand that part of being a qualified president is you have connections so you can get the right people into power to work with you. He chose Vice President Pence and did not remove him before the election. And he chose at least two conservative Supreme Court judges, if I remember correctly. So, if he's competent, he's choosing the right people.
However, he seems to have thrown out ones he chose.
The pattern seems to be he gets the right people, and therefore they do not go along with him when he is wrong; and they're "fired". But, also, there are times when the checks and balances keep him from being totally above question and doing whatsoever he pleases.
He said something like, "We are going to fix things" . . . so the liberal stuff can not get going, again. I would say he would be willing to stay in
