CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, I passed my certification exam. My husband got better and my baby didn’t get sick. Her birthday party was a success! I made a mega batch of French toast, eggs, bacon, and hot chocolate. Somehow it all worked out. The Lord sure blessed me!It really is a stressful day, Christmas. I have to shop for 13 people. My daughter was also born just before Christmas, and we’re throwing a bday party for 17 family members on Saturday. My daughter just got over a cold and my husband just developed a fever and is pretty sick with something different than the cold my daughter had. We have birthday stuff arriving today and we just got a ton of snow making our driveway impassable. I have to study for an extremely difficult 3 hour exam that many people fail, to get a required certification for my job due in January, and the test is tomorrow. The exam costs hundreds of dollars to take. I haven’t studied nearly enough, with everything else going on.
Plus I have no idea what I want for Christmas and everyone keeps asking, and time’s a tickin.
It’s so stressful that it’s almost funny, lol.

I got Super Mario Galaxy for Switch for Christmas. I haven't played that game in about fifteen years and struggling with the controls somewhat. I wonder if @Multifavs has played that game on that console and could suggest something?

@.Mikha'el. I only played a little bit of the original Wii version and haven't played the Switch version. Are you using the Joy-Cons to play? I remember not being a fan of the Wii version's controls and would imagine that the Joy-Cons would be similar.

I never played Galaxy on the Wii because I didn't like the nunchuck and didn't play any games you had to use it for. (I am a picky gamer though, and mainly got it for the virtual console. I think Galaxy was the only one I really wanted to play but couldn't.) I got it for the switch though and the controls are a nightmare. The game itself is fun, controls aside.

That's probably the reason why I didn't like the controls, I wasn't a fan of the nunchuck either. The only game I remember playing much of that used the nunchuck was Sonic and the Black Knight, and I honestly wasn't very good at that one.

They can be very unpleasant at times using Joy Con for Switch. They are miserable for a lefty like me. What I found really helped was to switch hands with the controls for both rolling on the ball and ray surfing, so left Joy Con in right hand and vice versa.

It's all about the "why". I can't listen to Christian music for entertainment purposes.
