  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Threats pile up as Indiana Republicans confront pressure from Trump on redistricting

[It's up to a dozen, now]

It’s a bewildering and frightening experience for lawmakers who consider themselves loyal party members and never imagined they would be doing their jobs under the same shadow of violence that has darkened American political life in recent years.

Students form human swastika on San José high school football field

A viral image of San José students forming a human swastika while lying on their high school’s football field has roiled the Silicon Valley community and prompted an outcry from the Jewish community.

The picture of eight Branham High School students was posted Wednesday on social media, accompanied by an antisemitic 1939 quote from Adolf Hitler. The post has since been deleted and denounced by local leaders.

[The quote refers to the annihilation of the Jews in Europe in the context of blaming 'international financial Jews' for world wars.]

Indiana GOP state senator says he's a no on redistricting after Trump delivers his Thanksgiving execration

Trump's Nov. 27 Truth Social post ‒ one in a series of anti-immigrant comments posted Thursday ‒ referred to Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as the "r-word." Though the word was formerly used in medical contexts, it's now widely regarded as offensive, and disability advocates seek to end its use.
Per Walz' daughter, cretins are shouting the r-word at their family home.

[You may recall that Walz' neurodivergent son cried during the governor's speech, spurring reactions that highlighted the divide between normal human beings and those who strangled their empathy.]

Little Rock shocked by Neo-Nazi 'Blood Tribe' march
The group is known as the "Blood Tribe", and they were seen marching down streets like Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Drive and Daisy L. Gatson Bates Drive on Saturday.

Shawn Woods, the criminal justice committee chairman of the NAACP Little Rock branch, believes that the locations the group marched on were symbolic. One of which was Central High School, where the Little Rock Nine enrolled at the previously all-white school as a result of the Brown V. Board of Education decision.

After the demonstration, members of the "Blood Tribe" were seen piling into the back of a large U-Haul truck. After driving away from Central High School, they were quickly pulled over by Little Rock Police and Arkansas State Police.

22 people were in the back of the vehicle, and they were all made to find alternate rides home. The driver, identified in a press release by Little Rock Police as 36-year-old as Zachary Platter of Indiana, was issued a citation because of the incident.

So no seatbelts is considered a menace.
