• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

If Jesus meant that way, his reply to their question in Acts 1:6 would have been

"Why do you ask such a stupid question about the kingdom being restored to Israel, when I already told you it will be given to "people outside the OT religion without the need for physical circumcision, animal sacrifice, levites, stoning to death, temple etc"

Do you understand my point?
Look at my post on restoring the kingdom to Israel it was spiritual, and happened on Pentecost. After Jesus raised from the dead he said preach the gospel to the whole world which they did eventually in Acts when a non Israelite gets the holy spirit then the Judean Christians accept the gospel is for everyone.

No, Ezekiel 38-39 has not happened yet. The proof is in Ezekiel 39:11, there will be a mass grave site in Israel named the valley of Hamongog.

No such site exists in Israel.

Ezekiel 38:8, Ezekiel 38:16, Gog/Magog to happen in the latter days, latter years.

Do you notice the order stated in Luke and Acts? Begin at Jerusalem, then Judea/Samaria, then the whole world.

The 12 + James never left Jerusalem in their lifetime, because the nation of Israel never accepted Christ as their Messiah. Cornelius was a one off incident and he was saved under the same program that Israel had.

yeh. on pentecost 3000 converted and would of gone back to all those countries listed, and started churches and yes paul was unkown to judean churches it said somewhere so for years it was only Judean christians but eventually by pauls time gentiles start converting and colossians 1 23 says the gospel has been preached to the whole world and that was 62 ad so by then tons of greco romans had become christians.

To clarify, when you say the kingdom to Israel was spiritual,

was it always spiritual at the beginning of Jesus's ministry in Matthew 4:17,

or was it originally physical but changed to spiritual at Matthew 21:43?
