  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Maybe use your own words to say how Tesla is right instead of just linking to random webpages and videos.

Tesla was right but Tesla was eventually undone by what he called “ignorant, unimaginative people, consumed by self-interest”— powerful men that sought to protect the immensely profitable, low-tech industries they had spent a lifetime building.

Today’s fossil-fuel industry, a legacy of that past, has fought just as hard in recent decades to protect the same interests — Luddites and laggards afraid of losing their companies to the wind and the sun.

Those are definitely not your own words.

No they are not but nether the less are true.

Except they're not.

The wireless power transmission is incredibly impractical and impossible. There is no way to safely and easily transmit energy over long distances without the substantial loss of said energy, thus meaning it would have to thousands upon thousands of the Tesla towers around the world, which still falls into the capitalist problem you think it would fix, let alone the fact that it is impossible to draw energy from the ionosphere or any part of Earth's atmosphere, and that was also not the intent behind Tesla's tower in Wardenclyffe.

Like Tartaria, it is a load of bunk and you are too ignorant to understand why.

And your too ignorant to understand how this has already been done in Tartaria.

Except that it wasn't, because there was no Tartaria, it was simply the name given to the far east of Russia including Mongolia. I even showed historical maps that showed that fact.

And it's oh so telling that you ignore the rest of my comment to focus on this one segment.

I too have shown a map of Tartaria which I believe to be correct.

Sometimes you gotta play the role of a fool to fool the fool who thinks he is fooling you.

And you play the fool so well that you think that you're not a fool when its clear to everyone that you're a fool.

Arguing with a fool only proves that there are two.

I did a quick scan over what is known or what was known as the 7 wonders of the world.

So, was wondering if those who built them had free energy?

The Romans achieved much, but if you ask a cabdriver in Rome, "Where are the Romans?"

He would surely reply, "They are gone, long gone."

So it would be safe to say not many will swallow what you have put forward, would reckon.

Tesla’s long-held dream was to create a source of inexhaustible, clean energy that was free for everyone. He strongly opposed centralised coal-fired power stations that spewed carbon dioxide into the air that humans breathed.

He believed that the Earth had “fluid electrical charges” running beneath its surface, that when interrupted by a series of electrical discharges at repeated set intervals, would generate a limitless power supply by generating immense low-frequency electrical waves.

One of Tesla’s most extraordinary experiments was to transmit electrical power over long distances without wires or cables — a feat that has baffled scientists ever since.

His grand vision was to free humankind from the burdens of extracting, pumping, transporting, and burning fossil fuels — which he viewed as “sinful waste”.

The article you quoted has no factual substance. Surely you must be able to find an article that details "Tesla's extraordinary experiment to transmit electrical power over long distances without wires or cables — a feat that has baffled scientists ever since". Somebody wrote it in an article on the Internet, so it must be true, right?

You know the difference between dreams and practical achievements?

Of course I do, but Tesla would have achieved his dream if only people had of believed in him, but unfortunately there were rich powerful people who stood in his way who's interest was only money. $

Tesla was eventually undone by what he called “ignorant, unimaginative people, consumed by self-interest”— powerful men that sought to protect the immensely profitable, low-tech industries they had spent a lifetime building.

This just proves that free electricity was possible.

Wikipedia has some information on what Tesla actually achieved (and didn't) in terms of wireless power transfer.
