Peace be upon the Holy Land

Isaiah 58:1-2 Shout aloud without restraint, declare to My people: Israel, their sins. They seek guidance of Me day after day and say they delight in knowing My ways, as if they were a nation which had acted rightly and had not abandoned the just Laws of their God. The Jewish State of Israel.

Isaiah 58:3-5 Why should we fast and work hard for God, when He seems to pay no heed? In fact you just serve your own interests on your holy day, keeping your workers employed. Your observance of a holy day leads only to trouble and strife, on such a day your ‘fasting’ [secular activities] means that you cannot expect your voice to be heard in heaven. Is that what you call a ‘fast day’, holy to the Lord? Just a day for a man to humble himself, bowing his head like a bulrush and repenting in sorrow. The situation of many Christian Church’s today.

Isaiah 58:6-7 This is the kind of ‘fast day’ that I require; to loose the chains of injustice, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke. To share your food with the hungry and to provide the homeless with shelter. When you see those without garments, to clothe them and to never evade your duty to your kinfolk.

Isaiah 58:8-9 Then your light will break forth like the dawn, your healing will appear, your righteousness will go before you and the glory of the Lord will follow you. Then you will call and the Lord will answer, you will cry for help and He will say; Here I am! Call upon the Name of the Lord and you will be saved. Joel 2:32, Acts2:21, Romans 10:13

Isaiah 58:13-14 If you keep your Sabbath day holy by not doing as you please, making the Lords day worthy of honour and do not attend to your own affairs, then you will find joy in the Lord. He will give you dominion over the Land, the holding of your father, Jacob will be yours to enjoy.

Isaiah 58:11-12 The Lord will guide you always. He will satisfy your needs in the sun scorched Land and give you strength. You will be like a well watered garden, like an unfailing spring. Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and build upon ancient foundations. You will be called the restorers of houses and towns.

Psalms 125:1-5 Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion; it cannot be shaken, it stands forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people, for now and evermore. Surely wicked rulers will not continue to control the Land allotted to the righteous, or the righteous may put their hand to injustice. Do good, Lord to Your people, to those who are upright in heart, but those who turn aside into crooked ways, let them suffer the penalty of evildoers

‘Surely wicked rulers will not continue to control the Land’ – the apostate, atheistic and false religion peoples who currently occupy most that area originally promised to Abraham, will not stay much longer. The soon to happen, Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath, will ‘sun scorch’ the entire Middle East, allowing His faithful Christian people to ‘have dominion over the Land’, and they will ‘rebuild the ancient ruins’. Then, there will be truly; Peace upon the holy land of Israel.

Godless peoples live in the Holy Land:

Psalms 79:1-7 The heathen have invaded Your domain, Lord – they have defiled Your Holy Place and ruined Your Land. Your servants have been killed and evicted from Jerusalem. Now we suffer the taunts of our neighbours and the threats of those around us.
Lord: You are roused to a fury, Your indignation blazes like a fire. Pour out Your wrath onto the nations that do not acknowledge You, those peoples that deny Your existence, for they have taken over the heritage of Jacob.

Psalms 79:8-13 Do not remember against Your people the guilt of past generations, rather let Your compassion come swiftly to meet us, for now we are brought so low. Help us, God our saviour for the honour of Your Name. For Your Name’s sake rescue us and wipe out our sins. Why should the nations ask: Where is their God?

May we see Your vengeance for their treatment of Your servants.
Let the supplications of Your people from around the world, reach Your presence and in Your great might save those who are dead in the spirit. Ezekiel 37:13-14
Turn back sevenfold onto their own heads the contempt the godless nations pour upon You. Then, we; Your people: the flock whom You shepherd, will give You thanks forever and praise You to all generations.

‘The heathen have invaded Your domain’- Most of the current inhabitants of the Holy Land, that is: the area from the Nile to the Euphrates, are atheistic, apostate or false religion worshippers. Isaiah 20:30-32, Psalms 52:1-5

‘neighbours have taken over the heritage of Jacob’-
Neighbours: the enemies of God and the rejecters of Jesus, living in or adjacent to the State of Israel. Jeremiah 12:14, Ezekiel 21:13-14
Jacob: the Overcomer for God, now every faithful Christian. Galatians 3:26-29, Ephesians 3:6 and in each of the Seven Churches of Revelation.

‘Your indignation blazes like fire’ - The multi prophesied punishment by fire that the Lord will bring upon the world, especially devastating to the Middle East. Ezekiel 30:2-5, Amos 1:3-15, Zephaniah 1:1-18, 2 Peter 3:7

‘onto their own heads’- The weapons prepared by the nations who attack will ‘recoil upon themselves’. Psalms 7:12-15, Obadiah 1:15, Joel 3:4

‘Your people, the flock whom You shepherd’, Faithful, born again Christian people from every race nation and language, protected, saved and then living in their heritage: the holy Land. Ezekiel 34:11-16, Isaiah 35:1-10, Romans 8:16-18, Romans 9:24-26

Psalms 79 is another example of How the Lord will act when an Islamic confederation commences their attack on the State of Israel, as Prophesied in Psalms 83. It will be the literal fulfilment of the many prophecies of a terrible punishment by fire upon the nations, an explosion of the suns surface, instigated by the Lord, but He is not seen at this time, so it can be thought of as a natural disaster by the secular peoples.
It will be the sudden and shocking Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath, that will virtually depopulate all the area given to Abraham, nearly four millennia ago. Zephaniah 1:14-18

This will allow the gathering and settling of the true, faithful Israelites – natural and grafted in, to live in the Holy Land. The rest of the world will form a One World Government, as nations will cede their sovereignty because of this disaster.
About 10 years later, after all that is prophesied in Revelation to happen before the Return has taken place, then the Lord Jesus will Return for His Millennium reign.
