I see now why the globe is so accepted, because it can be visualized and set upon a pedestal to be worshiped. People can look at the created image of a globe earth and idolize it. Say hey this is our beautiful, etc... home.

But God's true creation the flat and stationary earth can not be made into an object of worship. The whole creation can not be known and visualized and made into little object. Set upon a stand to be spun around in a class room and worshiped as the home of humanity. But a man/satan created globe can be and is alas we have earth day.

Is this meant to be an answer to where satellite TV signals come from? If so, the idea that fixed domestic satellite dishes would be able to stay focussed on a moving aeroplane seems to me to be a non-starter. If that wasn't what you were trying to answer, I apologise for misunderstanding.

Yes, every morning I take my Mercator globe out of it's crystal case and put it up on the altar in our living room and spend a good 30min worshipping it. Oh wait, I don't actually have a Mercator globe or any other kind of globe for that matter, so scratch that.

The earth is just one tiny, almost insignificant part of the whole of God's creation. No one is putting it on a pedestal.
Earth day is the creation of climate change alarmists. Those taking part are only virtue signalling. No one is worshipping the earth.

The fact is that most people give zero thought to the earth being a globe unless it is important in their work, such as surveyors, airline pilots or people navigating the oceans. Oh, and people launching satellites. For the rest of us we give it about as much thought as we do about breathing. The only time I give it any thought is when I am responding to the nonsense claimed by you and your fellow flatties.

A meteorite storm where 200,000 meteorites an hour bombarded the earth.

People can idolise flat earth too.
Idolise as in writing posts about it, finding arguments in favour of it, and even Scriptures, that "illustrate" it, searching on YouTube for videos which explain it. There are even groups of people who teach, and promote, flat earth - even though it is not all important, has nothing to do with salvation, belief in God or Christian growth.

But most meteorites burn up in the earth's atmosphere (I think because of heat generated at they pass through the atmosphere). I found this in a Google search:

You need to get your terminology right. That was a meteor storm. They all burned up in the earth's atmosphere. They are only meteorites if they don't burn up completely and actually reach the earth's

The earth isn't flat where your house is and then becomes a globe earth when you get to Cardiff, London, Chester, France etc. That's not possible. The planet is either a circular but flat, 40,000 foot deep shape or a globe. You can't accept that it's the latter; that doesn't mean that it isn't.
