  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think you’d benefit from the post I left about personal curriculums. There’s christian women doing the same and some are studying the bible and related subjects. The key to overcoming your dilemma is followthrough. You can’t put your writing on the back burner or your gifts and I hinted at why in my comments. It isn’t a trend it’s a movement of women doing the same. That’s where kindred spirits are found not on the sidelines.

Sometimes we must walk through a door to unlock our blessing. Don’t be afraid. The things you seek are on the other side. ;-)

At times, I think about how on Gab, there was a particular Christian (or maybe "Christian") man that I respected and wanted to be friends with. I noticed how when I posted comments on his posts, he never replied back or emojied them. Then here's what upset me - the unnamed account, he not only interacted with her, but agreed with her that when women get a job, they cause trouble including adultery. Since then, the Christian man has found out that the unnamed account is not a real Christian, but is in a cult that blasphemies God's Word on a regular basis. But he still interacts with her, trying to point her to Jesus.

It dawned on me yesterday. That this man is a "Christian warrior" and has the unbiblical "warrior" mentality. The reason he wasn't interested in me is because I'm already saved, so there was nothing to argue about or "conquer". Whereas the unnamed account who blasphemies Christ, he needs to "be at war" with her, "conquer" her, and "lead her to Christ through arguing".

Crazy.

I like alternative history, like Tartaria/Old World.


The reason I'm trying to learn Koine Greek is because I found out that parts of the New Testament in English have a different translation than the original Koine Greek has.

One of the things I'm working on with learning Koine Greek is writing out vocabulary words (in Koine Greek letters) that are in each lesson of the video. They also have a transcript of the video and at times I try to read it. I believe this will help me learn better.

And you know what I surprisingly learned about Koine Greek? That language doesn't have standardized cursive writing! So if you want to write it in cursive, you either come up with something yourself or see what others came up and copy them.

I've attempted to come up with my own cursive.
