CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's worth noting that soon after posting this video Fr. Trenham realized that Fuentes is a fan of Stalin, and that Tucker neglected to press Fuentes on his claim. Therefore Fr. Trenham released a second video denouncing Joseph Stalin. Fr. Trenham notes at the beginning of that video that it was occasioned by Fuentes' admiration of Stalin. Fuentes is also an anti-Semite who is a fan of Hitler, and a staunch white supremacist, among other things.
It would be unfortunate for the folk on CF to misunderstand who Fuentes is.

Why is that worth noting? I did hear Tucker say "we'll come back to that" but I'm not going to listen to the rest to see if they do.
I've asked some people who say similar things to provide me links. No one has. I learned from a teacher in elementary school not to judge people by what other people say about them.
Largely, they seem to already.

You're right I did. My apologies. Because you described the piece as "from Shapiro" I assumed it was just him talking about Nick. I'm already a little familiar with their history. I'll have a look sometime and respond.

Which, for me, begs the question; why would Fr Josiah give two hoots promoting him or his ilk? Why would any Orhodox Christian promote this?

Awful people with large followings get large followings by being good at reaching out to people and getting them to say oh this is a decent conservative (or whatever) guy with a large following, sure, I'll collaborate with you.

Not smart, seems to know nothing about history. (Likes both Stalin and Hitler??) Anyhoo-what concerns me is everyday young men who feel disenfranchised in our society and don't do critical thinking seem to follow him. I'm glad he's being denounced by some good conservatives that I follow.

Simple: because Fr. Trenham trusts Tucker Carlson and Tucker platforms folk like this. This is the underlying problem in my estimation. Too few understand how far Tucker has shifted, and Tucker takes advantage of this.

Well, the topic was pornography, and Nick has expressed very well-articulated views about its evils. I, along with Fr. Josiah, probably think it's extra important to have an anti-pornography spokesman who is relatively young, speaking mostly to an audience of young men. Also, according to Nick, he is a virgin, (voluntarily) celibate, has never had a girlfriend, and is "waiting for marriage" after a proper Christian courtship.
I don't know if any of this is true, but it's what he says of himself. With all the enemies he has, it should be very easy to out him if he were seen in public with a female other than his mom. Regardless I think it's important to have a spokesman like that to the general public. Plenty of Christian men will talk honestly like this within a Church context, but no one else I know has well over a million general public followers. And he probably has those followers partly because he's a showman. Is that bad? I don't know, but here's a bit from G. K. Chesterton:

He says harsh things about Jews, Israel, blacks, and occasionally women, sometimes jokingly, sometimes seemingly seriously. Does he hate them? I don't know his heart. He has black friends and associates. If he has hate in his heart he will answer for it someday. I'm not his priest, I'm not his friend; it's really not my concern.One other thing: his first foray onto YouTube was him behaving as a very normal mainstream political pundit. While analyzing the 2016 candidates he said of Trump something to the effect of "he's okay, but he has to stop being so rude and brash". Then Trump won the primary, and Nick's personality changed almost overnight. I think he got the idea that the American people like the rude Trump, so Nick was going to get popular by being even more rude.
But this was when he was 17 or 18 years old. He didn't go to college but he's very smart intellectually, and savvy about promoting himself (though his opportunities have been few and far between). I'm three times his age and he might have read more books than I.
I think the "joke" (such as it is) is two-fold. First, it's weird to bring the innocent and likeable Cookie Monster into a discussion about burning Jewish corpses.
More importantly, they could have simply, directly talked about burning Jewish corpses. The larger point (joke) is that they use cookies to remind the listener that it's politically incorrect to question the number of Jewish deaths caused by the Final Solution. An issue Nick frequently talks about is how, if you go too far criticizing Jews, you'll be dealt with by them. I'm not agreeing with that, I'm saying that's what Nick says, and he provides what he claims are examples.
I don't know if it was "The Jews", but Nick certainly was dealt with. The cookie stuff got him banned from YouTube, and within a short time banned from every platform there is except the public sidewalk. He's unable to use any bank or credit card. The feds froze an account of $500,000 of his personal money. The feds placed him on the no-fly list, even though flying has nothing to do with anything he ever said or done. I think there's other stuff, I forget.
He got doxxed and a masked gunman tried to assassinate him on his doorstep. There's video of it, and it's real because the man left the house and murdered a neighbor of Nick's. He was arrested. Nick is harassed. There's a funny video of a police interaction on his street, where a serious and emotional lefty woman is talking with a confused Chicago cop: "Why do I need to arrest him?" "He says horrible things." "Um, ma'am, that's not a crime".
I would suggest to have a better perspective search out his earlier scripted, formal talks in front of audiences. Personally I think that's preferable to extemporaneous speaking where there are tangents, joking around, etc.
I'd probably be bitter if I experienced what he has, and still is. He's never struck me as bitter, but then I only ever see him when a camera is pointed at him.

P.S. Are jokes about burning Jews last century in bad taste? That's in the eye of the beholder, I guess. AFAIK, there are only two of such jokes. Here's the other which is, arguably, actually funny:
