CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

DJT stock has lost more than a third of its value in the past month and is flirting with going under $20 today. This is still above its all-time lows of around $11.

April 2 (Reuters) - Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT.O), opens new tab filed papers with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday that would allow President Donald Trump's trust to sell stock that could be worth $2.3 billion, Axios reported.Trump's not required to sell any, but he's now allowed to do so.

Trump Media’s SEC filings say the company paid Nunes $47,640,469 last year, when its revenue was $3,618,800.
Nunes’ compensation, most of which consists of stock awards, would put him on a recent list of the top-10 most highly paid CEOs produced by research firm Equilar. He was not included because DJT’s revenue was below the study’s cutoff.
When I asked Trump Media’s spokeswoman about Nunes’ compensation relative to the company’s revenue, I got the following email: “Transparent hit pieces like this one, arguing that it’s a scandal that Trump Media tries to pay its officers competitive salaries based on recommendations and approvals by compensation consultants, board members, lawyers, and others, are laughably predictable inanities that are read by few people and believed by even fewer.”

Truth Social just installed an AI chatbot that actually exposes Trump's lies
Why Trump’s Truth Social AI chatbot feels oddly out of place in the MAGA-verse.In exchanges with a Washington Post reporter,Truth Search AI undermined Trump by saying that "tariffs are a tax on Americans, the 2020 election wasn’t stolen, and his family’s cryptocurrency investments pose a potential conflict of interest." When asked to verify Trump's claim on Truth Social that crime in Washington, D.C., is "totally out of control," the bot cited government statistics and said there were in reality "substantial declines in violent crime" in D.C. — and even italicized the word declines.
Truth Search AI said, "[Jan 6] was a violent breach of the U.S. Capitol by a pro‑Trump crowd that disrupted Congress’s certification of the 2020 Electoral College results, resulting in assaults on police, injuries, property damage, and hundreds of criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors to felonies."
I did notice that in the "sources" section of the responses, the sources listed were almost always Fox News and The Washington Times, both right-wing outlets, and a far narrower range of sources than I've seen cited by other AI chatbots such as X's Grok.
