  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Please keep my brother Alex in prayer. He's greatly ill with damaged kidneys and is on dialysis. He's having trouble eating food and keeping it down and as a result lost a lot of weight. Pray for his healing and salvation.
Please pray for Aiden that the Lord would open his eyes and his heart to the gospel. That the Lord would heal his father wounds and take down the barriers he's put up in his heart. That the Lord would reveal Himself as the perfect Father who won't turn away from his as Aiden's father did. That he would be protected from the enemies lies and discern the truth about the Lord. That the Lord would place other Christians in his life to bear witness to the Gospel. That he would be forgiven and repent.
Please pray for Josh. That the Lord would open his eyes to the lies the enemy has used to hold him. That the Lord would grant him repentance so that he might turn to the Lord.
That God would be glorified in all.

Gracious Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus,
I pray for the salvation of Alex and Aiden and Josh, who all need You, Lord Jesus. Help them to repent and believe Your Gospel, so that Bandit may not lose heart. A lost family member is a pain of this body’s emotions.

Please be with Alex to comfort and heal, but also to open his eyes to the reality of death, that he might turn to You for salvation. For Aiden, please walk beside him to show him what the love of a Father really looks like in in his life, that he might feel the weight of Your protection and provision and turn towards Your love. For Josh, I pray that You would send people into his life who can confront him over the lies that he is believing. Do make those lies hurt, so he can see them for what they are, and he can turn away from them in repentance.

See to it that Your name is glorified through Your decisions, and help Bandit to understand Your will here and how best to help his brother and the other people who need prayer. Guide and direct his steps.
