Would that he should show respect for the office he holds and the constitution he has sworn to uphold.
And this isn't like I'm taking a passing interest in some failed developer who has happened to get people to vote him into office. I've been following US politics since JFK. And this surely doesn't come as a surprise to you that what this man does often has a direct affect on my country and me on me personally. So these schoolyard level whinges like 'Hey, go hug a kangaroo' deserve to stay in the schoolyard where they belong.
Let's face it, taking afront when someone points out that Trump lies constantly and is a disgrace to the office of POTUS when almost everything he does is confirmation of those facts is plainly excusing what he does.
This business of the East Wing is a sideshow. His petty use of tariffs, his blatant disregard of freedom of speech, his quotas on illegal immigrants, his complete disregard for human life in executing boat loads of people...the list goes on and on and on.
The East Wing and his gold plated ballroom? That's a little light relief, my friend. What he's doing to the reputation of your country should concern you. That it doesn't concern you and so many others is of even greater concern.
Let me start by offering, in all seriousness and friendliness, a forum usage tip, since this has happened with you before. When replying to a post in a relatively lengthy thread, you don' t have to read every post in the thread, but you should scan the thread's pages to look for previous posts made by the poster you're replying to. (Remember, it's called a
thread for a reason.) It's fairly quick and easy to do given that we all have different colorful avatars of one kind or another. That way, you won't risk looking foolish by making a point which has already been solidly debunked.
Your postings impressed me so much I was inspired to do something I may or may not have ever done before. While having my morning coffee, I decided to multitask and write a book, just for you. No worries mate, as books go, it's very short, and I've made every effort to keep the Latin and the technical jargon down to a minimum. Also, please forgive any grammatical errors as my proofreader is presently in county jail. Enjoy.

ON THE NATURE OF SPACE, WORDS, AND TRUMP'S ETERNAL RULE
An Examination Of Why Bradskii, The News Media, And The Entire Left Are Wrong About The East Wing
---------------------
Dedicated to Bradskii
---------------------
Foreword
There's a perplexing question which entered into the human condition around the time of the year of our Lord 2015 - do members of the Trump hating industrial complex actually believe their own lies that they pass amongst each other and the world at large, or do they just pretend to? As of 2025, the world's finest cognitive scientists are stumped by this question. Unfortunately I also have no answer to that question in general, but I think I can answer it sometimes in particular cases. In your case, Mr. Bradskii, I think you're a True Believer. I'll insult you by complimenting you - you come across as a very sincere man.
Preface
Forgive me if what I'm about to say here comes across as condescending, but by not knowing the meaning of the word "replace" (As I said, I think you're sincere. We're both older gentlemen, and perhaps you've forgotten the meaning), you've left me no choice. I have to play the hand you dealt me. By not knowing the meaning of the word "replace", and by participating in this thread to demonstrate that fact by parroting the nonsense of others, you've painted yourself into this corner.
If I'm trying to teach a child how to ride a bicycle, and he's not "getting it", I may have to make the process simpler and easier by attaching training wheels. Here's your wheels -
Chapter The First
At around 8 to 12 months of age, young humans learn about object permanence. Between the ages of 2 to 3 years, children learn the concept that two physical objects cannot occupy the same space at the same time. At some point around here, as their vocabulary is growing, English speaking children will indubitability learn the meaning of a very basic, common and useful word - "
replace". I won't delve into the linguistics involved, but suffice to say that, if all is going well, i.e., in the absence of any brain injury or organic brain disease, or functional brain disease such as may be incurred from watching MSNBC or TikTok, the child will come to mentally associate the meaning of the word "replace" with the physics concept that two physical structures cannot exist in the same space at the same time. At the quantum level, this concept is expressed by the Pauli Exclusion Principle. In our much more relatable macro world, the concept is referred to as either the Impenetrability of Matter, or Spatial Exclusion. But it's important to note that no child needs any training in physics whatsoever to fully grasp this very important concept, because,
res ipsa loquitur.
In July, in the very first announcement regarding plans for the east wing, the White House released a press statement which said they were going "...
to replace the current East Wing". [Exact words. Emphasis added.]
There was no lie.
Chapter The Second
The day the demolition began, King Trump posted this: "
Completely separate from the White House itself, the East Wing is being fully modernized..." So when King Trump made the comment about not touching the "existing building", all logical, thinking people readily deduced that he was obviously referring the White House itself, not the wing which he announced months earlier was going to be
replaced. But the Left saw a chance to do what it loves and lives to do - pounce on nothing as if it were a windmill needing to be tilted at. Would you nitpick over words this way with your wife? No, you'd only do it to someone for whom you have irrational hatred.
Is King Trump sometimes inarticulate? Yes, but in the recent past Australia had a king who spoke with a stammer, and is considered to have been a good king. No king is perfect.
There was no lie.
Chapter The Third
When I advised you to relax in my previous
book post, I meant it, and it was for your own good. You need to get used to this. King Trump is going to be your King forever. At no cost to the taxpayer, King Trump's consciousness has been uploaded to a secure server (a big, beautiful golden server, greatest server in history). Some other talented folks have created a hologram of King Trump (yes of course, big, beautiful, etc.). It's him, except now he's even slightly more handsome and has larger fingers. His rule will last throughout the millennia! You will have to get used to winning, to relative peace and prosperity, and many, many more big beautiful ballrooms.
More good news - when Australia becomes an American state, you and I will be fellow countrymen! Don't worry, your culture will remain intact, we won't be changing your tucker or your footy. You'll just have an overabundance of big ballrooms so you can have...(I'm thinking of a certain AC/DC song, but I probably ought not go there). There may need to be charges lain against that one bloke with the criminal dance moves, though.

Your welcome. Now go! Seize the day!
