CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Even that article doesn't prove hes s fascist. There are words like can, or words like I believe. But nothing listed that is actually facistic. Trump is the first really proactive, grab the bull by the horns, get 'er done, president we've had in a long time. So that's why he's being billed as a king dictator autocrat. The right in general gets called fascist and racist.

If we all are going to be honest, the Biden administration was more fascist than Trump's second term. I mean, people were arrested for not wearing masks on an empty beach.

Nobody has done what Trump has done. He has pardoned his friends and tried to jail his enemies. No President has ignored the law in ways Trump has.

Yeah. You can't just "both sides did it too" unless you're going to actually compare useful stats that also address the frequency of trumps disconcerting proclamations.
