It's weird. As if people never had reasons other than "leftism" to hate cops. First there is the racism that is common. (Don't know if the person is non-white. Didn't read article or watch video.) My dad's kind of an old school John Birch type, so, prior to MAGA, he was about as conservative and authoritarian as you'd find outside of a militia (MAGA has since eclipsed him). But he grew up in Brooklyn in the 50's and 60's and he'll still qualify his otherwise unquestionably pro-police stances with "except NYPD, those guys are jerks".
