  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am astounded by some of the comments by 'discerning' christians who support Israel's murderous slaughter of children, women and innocent men. I have never visited USA, but I have heard of your deluded zeal for the state of Israel.
Satan will tell you 10 facts, and 9 of them will be true. Let me tell you a secret, the true nation of Israel is not in the middle east, and Izra el are not God's chosen people. They are deluded.

There’s a significant shift underway concerning Israel globally and Americans have followed suit. In response, Netanyahu undertook a campaign to repair the damage by hiring social media influencers who produce pro-Israeli content. You can hear an overview of what occurred below and direct remarks from him in the second piece. He mentions the purchase of Tik-Tok as well.

The second video is a clip of Debra Lea who attended the event and addresses him directly. The original was posted her feed and proceeded with the following headline:

I had the honor of asking Bibi Netanyahu about Charlie Kirk’s assassination & the potential loss of evangelical support for the state of Israel.

2 Thessalonians 2:11
Isaiah 66:4

Residing in the United States or any other country does not alter what the Bible states regarding the nation of Israel. Scripture states that descendants of Abraham are God's chosen people, no matter where they live—whether in the UK, USA, or Ramallah.

Prophet Elijah had similar questions about Israel as many Christians have today. Some Christians observe that the actions of Israel differ from the teachings of Christ, which emphasize mercy and compassion.

1 King 19:10

“He said, “I have been very jealous for the Lord, the God of hosts. For the people of Israel have forsaken your covenant, thrown down your altars, and killed your prophets with the sword, and I, even I only, am left, and they seek my life, to take it away.”

And the God answer back to Elijah

“Yet I will leave seven thousand in Israel, all the knees that have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.””

In the book of Romans, Paul elaborates the same event

Romans 11:1-6 I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don’t you know what Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he appealed to God against Israel: 3 “Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me”[a]? 4 And what was God’s answer to him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”[b] 5 So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. 6 And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.”.

My question to you is this: If God is eager to forgive the transgressions of His chosen nation and people despite their actions, what reason do you have to accuse them?

I guess that it is the wrong time to congratulate Trump, Qatar, Egypt and Turkey.

I would note that for the last two years, the Arab states have celebrated the demise of the terrorists in Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and Gaza (and celebrated the bombing of Iran).

By this time next year, Israel will have completed the Abrahma Accords and signed an agreement with Saudia Arabia.
===============
And I pray that we will have a new Israeli government that will fully withdraw from the West Bank and allow peace within Palestine (Gaza and the West Bank). Never have the Arab states been so united in a cause, except when they have opposed Shiite terrorists.

Astounding Christians would accuse them of this and not Hamas.

I agree.

Let us be clear. No one supports Hamas except for terrorists, Iran, American lefties and some European lefties.

There can be no peace with Hamas with any power or as part f the government. FULL STOP
==============
And very few support Israeli tactics in Gaza and the West Bank. No one supports the continued Israeli occupation of Gaza.
Trump has tried to broker peace for many months. He finally was moved to immediate action when Irael attacked Qatar.

Trump made Israel apologize and Trump promised to defend Qatar and take whatever action is necessary if they are attacked again.

I support President Trump's efforts regarding the peace deal and the 20-step plan.

However, I will observe the process with skepticism. The initial phase of exchanging of hostage/ prisoners and the withdrawal of the IDF from Gaza will demonstrates goodwill, but the subsequent steps will be more challenging, particularly when it comes to Hamas surrendering and transferring authority to an international governing body.

I am highly doubtful that Hamas will ultimately capitulate.

Of course, Hamas will ULTIMATELY capitulate. The US, Egypt, Qatar, Turkey and the UAE will have boots on the ground to monitor and make sure. If it takes some time, that is NOT a major problem for me.

The deal is signed. The Arab signatories are ready to be the security force.
=========
There is a long way to go to complete the 20-point plan. I suspect that this will wait for a new Israeli government in the Spring. The sticking point is NOT Gaza. It is getting Israel to withdraw from the West Bank. It seems the settlers will stay, if they wish, under an Arab government and under Arab security. That will take a new government. That's OK if Israel can be pressured to stop its support of settler violence.

Despite boots on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan, nothing changed.

Those willing to blow themselves on the street so they can kill as many as innocent lives as they can for their freedom or objective cannot be defeated by force without losses on both sides. There is an assumption among some that the presence of US, Arab, and other international troops will prompt Hamas to surrender quality. Historical precedent suggests that such situations often devolve into prolonged urban conflict, resulting in substantial loss of life among both civilians and military personnel.

I support President Trump’s peace deal and the 20 steps, but let’s wait a few months to see how things unfold. I wouldn’t celebrate yet just because multiple countries have signed a peace agreement.

I was watching a doco on Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of Hassan Yousef, a co-founder of the Palestinian Islamist organisation Hamas. He is a very wise man and draws on vast real life experiences on both sides. He was actually a Palestinian militant before seeking refuge in Isreal. He knows Hamas and the Palestinian mindset. Or the brainwashed mindset that has been imposed on them.

But he mentions something very simple and real about how Isreal and the US should be allies on this conflict. Mosab reminds us that many Palestinians were celebrating with Bin Laden and other radical Islamist over 9/11.

October the 7th was Isreals 9/11. Both were attacks on our way of life. Both were motivated by a radical idology that wants a Jihad. They want to wipe the Jews off the face of the earth and by extention westerners like the US. They hate us and want us either dead or as slaves to their God.

They deny womens rights and people forget that these radicals were attacking the western nations before the latest attack on Isreal. The same thing. They came unannounced blowing innocent people to bits, raping women, running people down with trucks, slitting their throats in the streets, blowing up discos, attacking the Olympic games and other public events. Do I need to go on.

That is why the US should side with Isreal and any other nation who believes in the freedoms and rights to be able to live by your own conscience, practice your beliefs, speak freely without being killed for it.

In fact in some ways the radicals are winning because many are starting to think the same. Siding with radicals and now believing violence and intimidation of Jews and even Christians is ok. Or just plain death silence on condemning this evil.

THE LIST
of Middle Eastern countries other than Israel believes in the freedoms and rights to be able to live by your own conscience, practice your beliefs, speak freely without being killed (or jailed) for it.
=======
THERE ARE NONE
=====
Jordan is close.

The rest all backed and funded Shia or Sunni terrorists and have attempted to destroy the state of Israel.

That being said, thanks to Trump these states are now willing to fight terrorists (or watch Israel do so) and make peace with Israel. Note, that Egypt was already at peace with Israel (thanks to Jimmy Carter).
