I must have missed that bit. I never recall Jesus atoning death and resurrection being mentioned. Aside from Erika Kirk, there weren't any of Christ's actual teachings being demonstrated, either (and the president went out of his way to contradict this, anyways). On the contrary, Tulsi Gabbard was there to push MAGA's divisive politics, and Gabbard belongs to a group that in the 1980's, a time when Evangelicals were less political, would have been considered a cult by many Christians in general (she claims to be Hindu, but she actually belongs to an offshot of the Hare Krishna movement that was started by a white guy and used to be known for aggressive proselytism and manipulative and controlling behaviors).
