  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Let me tell you what I discovered. Last week after I had washed and made the bed, I noticed my comforter had gotten larger on the sides. I couldn't figure out why.

I figured out why today - because I didn't put the comforter on the right way.

Whilst trimming down one of the bushes in my garden, I managed to slice my finger! Finally managed to stop the bleeding. The bad news is that there are spots of blood all over my garden and patio. The good news is it has started to rain!

Does anyone else dread their job? I'm not looking forward to work this week. They have me working on something else than what I typically work on and I don't like it.

I have frequently had jobs that I dreaded.

I currently have a job that I used to love, but I'm burned out and I'm having physical difficulties due to a disability that is progressing.

I'm looking for another kind of work.

Can't you just try and see if you could love it??
Try to see the good side.

Why did a job you loved turned into one you dread?

I never had a job that I dreaded. I always loved the work, its only the people (some) that I dreaded.

I only discovered recently that my profession is my best fit, I have thought of changing career many times, but never succeeded, thanks Heaven. It's good that I never succeeded.
Now I realise it's the devil who have been persuading me to change career.

I used to work in retail and would dread them.

I used to love my job, but things have changed over the few years and it's just terrible. I wish I had enough PTO to take a week off.

I used to love my job. I was allowed to do a good job and take time. But they have changed things. All they care about is money and doing foolish things. I want my job to honor God, not money and people that love money.

I wish I could get out, but the economy is very bad right now.

The first few jobs I had, I dreaded them. Some of them were out of my comfort zone / skill level. I pulled thru, but one I didn't make it. Working jobs I dreaded messed me up some. My confidence really plummeted & it just made me upset at everything. I don't dread my current job.

I used to give CEO's the benefit of the doubt & that they are generally good people & want to do right with their talents, how can you make money just ticking people off, & they're just a little misguided. Now I'm not so sure.

As long as you don't dread your job & it's not messing you up, just stick w/ it. When work is hard for me, I try to remind myself in church the time we discussed work is good & from God.
