• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Christians - May I have your attention for a moment?

The problem is , Who is the "we". There is you, and there is the government over you. As long as the government does not decide other wise...
there we have laws and the ability to enforce those laws if they that are put as representatives goes against it. I think it is also what country it is as in Sweden we have not had too much trouble. But I held to the first of course. If they start to misuse they should be dismissed. Sweden are very humanitarian we took in plenty in ww2. And a reason we still do.

ah ok so you are 70% total government control.
no totally not. I mean it is only how the laws and regulations are, we do not have as many private owned companies as Uk for example where everything is private. for example the rail way in uk turned catastrophe, now they are talking of more stability and balance by a part being state controlled. it is on those lines

In sweden everything works. we have good bike roads everywhere, we have free right to roam in nature, free almost child care, free hospitals, good public services, good social services and benefit system, good treatment of ill people and help, very little criminality(those we hear of only happened recently) it is partly because we have laws and regulations how to share everything and where it goes. as well the state owned a certain percentage makes it more stable. it is definitely not like we see in so called negative countries.

In America we expect these things as human rights

We also here had decent health care in our history. Also criminality was dealt with . Until peole in government decided these things were purposely corroded.

Government shares the money they have controlled. A distinct entity of people as well. It is good at least for now they choose to do this...

Until the wealth runs out, then what? All it really is, is an exchange of wealth from one group of people to another.... one group produced and built the wealth, while the other does not produce it.

Actually, most of it is done through high tax that then is split fairly with a large extent for the social services. We do not have that many rich, everyone pay high tax. together.

Yes I know high taxes ( the peoples money) have to be involved. As for the rich, they don't want to live under that. So naturally they leave and or do not do business there. It is nothing that has not been done before...

Mmmmm... I just shifted to another house today and looking at the conversation it seems to have taken a direction away from the matter raised in the OP...

Have I provoked fruitful discussion or should we return to the topic ?
