Rural Christians, many of whom are illiterate, have been registered as ‘Muslim’ on their official identity cards without their knowledge. Pray that a way is found for them to be able legally to amend this identification, which has huge implications for their children’s education.

Pray for protection for house churches as they are becoming ever more important for persecuted believers. May the established churches recognise the importance of these places and start to support them.
11 September 2025 – Malaysia
Pray for the political leaders in Malaysia as they continue to be put under pressure from radical groups to implement Sharia (Islamic law) nationally.
10 September 2025 – Malaysia
Ask God to protect, inspire and lead Susanna Koh as she faithfully ministers while at the same time seeking justice for her husband, pastor Raymond Koh. Remember too her three children who have been profoundly affected by the absence of their father, who has not been seen since his abduction in 2017
09 September 2025 – Malaysia
Many believers in Malaysia are afraid to share the gospel with others because of the repercussions from militants in the Muslim majority. Pray that real and perceived persecution would not deter them.
08 September 2025 – Malaysia
Lift up in prayer secret believers from Malay backgrounds who are fearful for the future. Pray that, built up by the Spirit, they will persevere in their faith. In particular, remember ‘Fatimah’ (see Voice, April-June 2025) as she seeks faithfully to follow Jesus.

An imprisoned Iranian Christian convert, Amir-Ali Minaei, who has a heart condition and was recently assaulted by a prison guard, went on hunger strike in April. The 31-year-old is also understood to have ceased taking his medication in protest against the denial of access to a telephone in Evin prison. Remember him in your prayers. […]
