Trump suggests he’ll release Jeffrey Epstein ‘client list’ if elected: ‘I’d have no problem with it’

I don't recall that Biden made a campaign promise that he would release the files of the man who died on Trump's watch.
Once again we are back to demanding Trump do things you don't do. And you completely ignore the fact that he may have received new information. Biden could have released it promise or not. He didn't, for a reason. And one you don't know.
Why not say then? Instead, they claim that the client list simply, miraculously ceased to exist. What was the excuse for not releasing the other files? Something about "protecting the victims" - disregarding that more than a few of the victims have called for the release and such names can be redacted - and something about the men getting wrongfully blamed? If there is a legitimate reason, they should state what it is. "Trust me, bro" doesn't cut it.
Simple, because it could cause international incidents. He may be just taking it on the chin to tey and prevent something. The fact is I DON'T KNOW nor do I claim to.
Promise made; promise broken.
A statement of pure hypocrisy.

Sure we do. It's not typical to release investigative files. Biden doesn't need a reason NOT to release the files. That's standard. He needs a reason TO release them. A few rightwing nuts clamoring for them is not a sufficient reason.

Agreed, so there isnt any reason to release them now either except for a small group of right wingers clamoring along with a large coalition of leftists. Nothing has changed. Rhere is no compelling reason to do it now anymore than there was under Biden. Except of course for the cater walling of mostly the left.

Remember how long it took Obama to come up with this birth certificate?

Trump put several of them in positions of power in his government. He has been listening to them, and he was promising them the thing they craved.

Utter nonsense. Why are you trying to make this about me?
And you completely ignore the fact that he may have received new information. Biden could have released it promise or not. He didn't, for a reason. And one you don't know.
No, I haven't ignored it; I addressed it directly saying that if this were true, then he should disclose what this new information is and why it precludes him from explaining his decision to break this promise.
Simple, because it could cause international incidents.
Do you think he is protecting Netanyahu? Couldn't that part be redacted?
He may be just taking it on the chin to tey and prevent something. The fact is I DON'T KNOW nor do I claim to.
"Could cause", "may be", we "don't know".

Sure, but he, presumably, does know and instead of giving a plausible explanation for his broken promise Donald simply claims without evidence that the client list suddenly no longer exists and that the files no longer can be released.
A statement of pure hypocrisy.
Accusation in a mirror, projection at its coarsest.

Promise made, promise broken.

Because you are demanding or at least castigating someone for behaving in a way that you and everyone other human on this planet behaves. Its hypocritical.

Why? What right do you have to know the reasons? Especially if they have international implications.
Do you think he is protecting Netanyahu? Couldn't that part be redacted?
I have no idea what or who. And neither do you. What, do you want a bunch of pages with everyone's name blacked out? What good would that do you?

Yup ,still hypocritical.

Yeah, but as you say, we’re all guilty of it, so trying to use it as a point-of-contention is disingenuous.

Again, this isn't about me. Furthermore, the notion that Donald simply changed his mind upon learning new information is purely speculative on your part. This isn't his claim, merely yours with no supporting evidence.
Why? What right do you have to know the reasons? Especially if they have international implications.
Because this is a promise he made throughout his campaign and broke after he won. If there really are international implications, he could have claimed that without going into details, but that is not what he did. Again, this is merely your own unevidenced claim.
I have no idea what or who. And neither do you. What, do you want a bunch of pages with everyone's name blacked out? What good would that do you?
Why would everyone's name be blacked out and not just the supersensitive international incident causing ones? At least then he would have kept his promise, but that isn't what is happening - the entire mess is being withheld contrary to his promise.
Yup ,still hypocritical.
The hypocrisy is your own, doubled down.

Promise made, promise broken.

Promise made, promise broken.

He has never broken a promise. We will soon see the "Real" Obama birth certificate and his taxes from his last presidency any day now.

Our recent University of Massachusetts Amherst national pollincludes particularly detailed questions about the Epstein controversy and attitudes toward Trump, and thus provides fresh insights on how the controversy has affected public support for Trump.

We find that Trump’s handling of the Epstein controversy has done significant damage to his standing, particularly among his core supporters.

Seven in 10 Americans believe that Trump is handling the matter “not well.” This includes pluralities of Trump’s most loyal supporters: 43 percent of Republicans, 43 percent of conservatives, and 47 percent of those who voted for him in 2024.

When we drill down on the 47 percent of 2024 Trump voters who disapprove of Trump’s handling of the Epstein controversy, we find significant cracks in the MAGA facade. Among members of this group, 28 percent now disapprove of Trump as president.

House Oversight Committee Democrats say most Epstein files turned over by DOJ were already public

“Only 3% of the documents given to the Oversight Committee are new. The rest are already in the public domain. Less than 1% of files have been released. DOJ is stonewalling,” Rep. Ro Khanna of California said in a statement Saturday as he called for the full release of the files.

According to Lee, the “only new disclosure” is fewer than 1,000 pages from Customs and Border Protection’s “log of flight locations of the Epstein plane” dating from 2000 to 2014 and “forms consistent with reentry back” to the United States.

The committee had said it plans to make the Epstein files public after a “thorough review” to ensure victims’ identities and other sensitive matters are redacted.

Epstein Accuser Virginia Giuffre's Memoir Is Being Published Posthumously

“Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice” is scheduled for release Oct. 21, the publisher confirmed to The Associated Press. Giuffre, who died by suicide in April at age 41, had been working on “Nobody’s Girl” with author-journalist Amy Wallace and had completed the manuscript for the 400-page book, according to Knopf. The publisher’s statement includes an email from Giuffre to Wallace a few weeks before her death, saying that it was her “heartfelt wish” the memoir be released “regardless” of her circumstances.
