No one knows the day or the hour .... Except all the movies. :D

There may be some truth to that. I'm a long time convinced Postrib who has sometimes enjoyed watching the Pretrib Rapture movies purely for entertainment. However, I do think some biblical truths of value are there. For example, the "Tribulation Christians" get a sense of what persecution is like.

No, we don't know the day or the hour. But we do know when the time is near.

Well, I never watched the Movies. a proper reading tells us no one vanishes, we die at the rapture and our Spirit Man goes to be with the Lord, 1 Cor. 15:42-52 makes that clear.

Sadly my friend, mot people do not understand Jesus was giving you/me/us all a hint we he said "No man knows the day nor hour" but it usually goes right over our head. Paul, Peter and John would have seen it.

Its about the timing of the Feast of Trumps. The Passover, Unleavened Bread and First Fruits were fulfilled by Jesus. Only Jesus can fulfill the 7 Feasts, but they all come on moeds or appointed times by God. It meant a New Moon thus the 360 day year.

So, when Jesus was telling his Disciples about his return, he said "No man can know the day nor hour
' meaning it was an appointed time by God the Father a New Moon will set it all off, on a Feast of Trumps, the Church Age Harvest MUST END just like the Harvest Season nalas ended at the Feast of Trump. Thus the LAST TRUMP get it? Israel sent two men up into the hills, when they saw the New Moon, which could start on one of basically 3 days, lets just say a Mon. just before Dusk, a Tue. or on a Wed. just after Dusk, so in a 25 hour period you get three different days. Israel ALWAYS KNEW THE MONTH and SEASON, JUST NOT THE YEAR. So, the only reason Jesus gives this and says no man knows the day, nor hour is because even though we could know the Season (Fall) and we can see we are in the END TIMES, we could not know the exact day nor hour because this was going to happen on an Appointed Feast of Trumps day.

So, we get Raptured Pre Trib. by Jesus, at the Last Trump then, Israel's 70th week starts which MUST SEE them Atone or Repent, thus the 6th Feast is the Feast of Atonement. The 7th Feast is Feast of Tabernacles, which means to Dwell with Gid and Jesus will reign from Jerusalem for 1000 years. The only TIME OF THE GENTILES Feast is the Harvest. Everything else happens during the Time of Israel.
