II Cor. 1:20 "For all the promises of God in Him are “yea”; and in Him “amen” unto the glory of God by us." Yes, the promises can come true. Some are based on conditions, one of those in many situations, our faith. I mean do we really believe God? Not just for salvation but for other benefits throughout life? We should because it is by faith and our confession (The words we are speaking) that God often will react. We all should know that God is able. But is He willing? One man asked Jesus directly if he was willing. Jesus said yes. Another asked Jesus to help his unbelief. He did.

The disciples were rebuked for their lack of faith, the centurion commended.
So where does this faith come from? "faith comes from hearing and hearing by the word of God.? It is not enough to rebuke a storm, one would need to actually hear from God about his will in the matter. So there really are Christians rebuking storms, most to no avail because they have not really heard from God on the matter.
When the disciples failed to rebuke the storm, they should have known that Jesus was not going to let them perish. He was sleeping and things were not going to go wrong that day but again, they failed to step out and even try. Just Jesus being there should have been enough.
There are things that can occur all around us if we will turn to God and be serious in prayer and listen to His will for various circumstances. Such christian activity too need not be self-centered, that hopefully we can help assist others in reconciling them to God and helping them get the breakthroughs that they need.
So please do be encouraged. That you can dig into God's word and hear His voice and achieve faith for things you previous thought were not possible. Don't leave out love either, especially for others. Listen to God's perspective on a matter. Doing this will give you compassion and desire to try for more and more.
of course no one has it all, but keep the focus on God, love and God's willingness to answer our prayers.

Do the Lord’s promises come true? Does anyone have experience of the promises in His word coming true in your life? Asking for encouragement.
Yes, all Gods promises have come true, they always have, and will. But you have to understand… who are the promises made to?

Yes his promises are true, if you have faith everything is possible it says,
one of those is 'God is not going to test you more than you can handle' if you are alright with God walking with Him, he will sustain you,
i have seen again and again, how things seemed horrible, and maybe out of control, and when i couldn't hold any longer, here comes God with some help or relief. We just need to not give up, and keep praying and fighting and resisting when things are going bad.

Yes and I have been the prodigal son and so better know the difference lol. In other words learnt the hard way. But I think most of us do to varying degrees. We keep trying to do it our way.

But as you develop a relationship with God, because thats what it is. Like all relationships you get to know the other person better. I think thats the same with God. You begin to see how God works in your life and you relate this to the scriptures and its almost like it comes true. Which I think everyone has but they may forget the scriptures or be too caught up with whats going on.

So I think when that happens the answers are always in Gods word.

Also I think we sometimes assume what Gods promises mean. It may not be like the picture we imagined. So in some sense we are always trusting God that He knows best and we may not see the fullfillment of that promise when or how we expect. But when we do we are so much more wiser and stronger.

Praise be to God that He knows best and we can trust Him with that.

Also, sometimes we have a part to play. An example is Psa 91. The first 2 Scriptures state our part then God"s promises are revealed.

Then there are numerous Scriptures that begin with "If" such as:
"My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.
6 For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding." Pro 2

Additionally there are Scriptures that stand alone such as 'The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works [the entirety of things created]." (Psa 145:9) "But if any one of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all freely and reproaches not, and it shall be given to him:" (Jam 1:5).

What promise did God ever make to you?
You tell me this and I will tell you.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your post since there"s hundreds of God's promises in Scripture while others say 7-8,000. One example is Psalm 91 which is pretty comprehensive.

Numerous books have been written about them as well.

Also, by studying His names including Yasha and the meaning of the word salvation in Hebrew and Greek, we can see His provision.

Why do people who believe God made a promise to someone else,
believe that He made that same exact promise to them
when He did not?

It's been my observation in threads when different perspectives are maintained,, often they degress into personal attacks. So exiting.
I just get tired of people saying things that just are not true and like to put them on the spot.
Nothing personal about it. Like this here you have stated. It is just your own opinion.

For the record,

If God did not make a promise to you,
then He did not make a promise to you.

If you read or hear of Him making a promise to someone else
that is not same as Him making any promise to you.

The only way you can be assured
absolutely with no doubt that God made any
promise to you, is if He Himself makes a promise to you.

But I want to insert here that to which I know
is of a truth. If you require or have to have
the living God make any promise to you
to believe Him or believe in Him or have faith in Him in any way
in your relationship towards Him or what you expect or want of Him,

Then to me
you are of a wrong mind, heart and spirit.

Instead of looking to God to honor His promises,
how about you honor your own promises to Him?

There are countless promises to believers in the NT, we can count on those if we are believers ourselves.

Such as, post a few of them for me. Let me see if they were to them long ago or to them of today?
Or to whom exactly God was speaking too?

We are under the new pact, grace for gentiles and all, to be saved the same things Paul etc and Jesus spoke to believers it applies to us, unless it was some specific thing about some person.

We shall all certainly see if this you have stated is true or false.
We shall all see it soon enough.

Here are a few applicable to all. They are good reminders :)
He has promised to be faithful to all generations
He has promised his people salvation & eternal life thru Jesus Christ
He has promised goodness, mercy, & grace
He has promised to bring down the wicked & the oppressor
He has promised to help you in all he's called you to do, to be w/ you & hear you
