Yes, all Gods promises have come true, they always have, and will. But you have to understand… who are the promises made to?Do the Lord’s promises come true? Does anyone have experience of the promises in His word coming true in your life? Asking for encouragement.
Yes and I have been the prodigal son and so better know the difference lol. In other words learnt the hard way. But I think most of us do to varying degrees. We keep trying to do it our way.Do the Lord’s promises come true? Does anyone have experience of the promises in His word coming true in your life? Asking for encouragement.
What promise did God ever make to you?Do the Lord’s promises come true? Does anyone have experience of the promises in His word coming true in your life? Asking for encouragement.
Why would the living God make any promises to anyone, what would be the purpose of it?Absoloutely yes. All of God's promises have come true, and they will continue to do so.
Why do people who believe God made a promise to someone else,Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your post since there"s hundreds of God's promises in Scripture while others say 7-8,000. One example is Psalm 91 which is pretty comprehensive.
Numerous books have been written about them as well.
Also, by studying His names including Yasha and the meaning of the word salvation in Hebrew and Greek, we can see His provision.
I just get tired of people saying things that just are not true and like to put them on the spot. It's been my observation in threads when different perspectives are maintained,, often they degress into personal attacks. So exiting.
For the record,
If God did not make a promise to you,
then He did not make a promise to you.
If you read or hear of Him making a promise to someone else
that is not same as Him making any promise to you.
The only way you can be assured
absolutely with no doubt that God made any
promise to you, is if He Himself makes a promise to you.
But I want to insert here that to which I know
is of a truth. If you require or have to have
the living God make any promise to you
to believe Him or believe in Him or have faith in Him in any way
in your relationship towards Him or what you expect or want of Him,
Then to me
you are of a wrong mind, heart and spirit.
Instead of looking to God to honor His promises,
how about you honor your own promises to Him?
Such as, post a few of them for me. Let me see if they were to them long ago or to them of today? There are countless promises to believers in the NT, we can count on those if we are believers ourselves.
Such as, post a few of them for me. Let me see if they were to them long ago or to them of today?
Or to whom exactly God was speaking too?
We shall all certainly see if this you have stated is true or false. We are under the new pact, grace for gentiles and all, to be saved the same things Paul etc and Jesus spoke to believers it applies to us, unless it was some specific thing about some person.
