And for men and women who want to live that way, it's just fine. But no one should be forced to it. It's just one model out of many, even for Christian men and women.

No, they deserve to be treated like the women they are. That "treated like a man" invokes a stereotype--if we can't reat them like tradwives the only other option is to treat them like men, because they have usurped social roles you think belong to men.
I bet you can't even define what a women is, much less make any statements about how they need to be "treated like the women they are." I agree. Treat them like the women they are. If they are a traditional woman, treat them like a traditional lady with chivalry. If they are a modern feminist, threat them with the equality they desire...aka treat them like a man.

Have you considered the idea that how you treat other people is about how YOU treat other people; and not making it conditional?

"Love your neighbor", for example, is not conditional on if your neighbor is nice to you.
Being respectful to women is not conditional on women conforming to what you think a woman ought to act like--it's about YOU being respectful.

It is a reprobate mind that perverts what is good and crushes it down to self-serving sinful lust.

"For the carnal mind is death, but the Spiritual mind is life and peace. For this reason the carnally minded hate God, and are in open rebellion to and unable to obey God's Law. Thus those who are carnal cannot please God." - Romans 8:6-8

For full exegetical transparency, I have paraphrased the expression γὰρ νόμῳ τοῦ θεοῦ οὐχ ὑποτάσσεται οὐδὲ γὰρ δύναται which more literally translates "for it does not submit to God's law, nor can it" as "in open rebellion to and unable to obey God's Law" as I believed this to be capturing the essence of the Apostle's point about how a mind driven and consumed with the self-guided and self-centered sinful impulses (φρόνημα τῆς σαρκὸς, "the flesh-driven mind") is both hostile and incapable of living according to God's ways.

Should women be treated equally to men or not. Simple question requires a simple answer. Leads me to wonder if I am actually the real feminist in this thread because it appears I am the only one desiring that modern feminists be given equal treatment to men. Why should only men have all that "male privilege" like working hazardous jobs and signing up for the draft?
Women had to fight to be able to serve in the military in combat positions. This year, women in top positions are being forced out.
Because they are being treated like men and held to a male standard. Which, they cannot.

"Feminism killed chivalry" he says, while standing over the body holding the knife.

Again I ask, do women want equality with men or not? If so, then chivalry is dead. At least for those who believe women should be treated equally to men. Ironic because the same so called "feminists" cant define a woman, want men in woman's bathrooms, men to steal women's sports, and preach about male privilege.

Do you think women should be treated equal to men or not?

In regards to liberty and human dignity.

I'm not going to make the same kinds of fart jokes around my female friends as I would around my male friends.

But on matters of principle such as:

I will not hit a woman, but then I do not believe in hitting men either; Christ's commandment says "Do not repay evil with evil, if someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn and offer the left cheek as well." "Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, pray for those who persecute you."

I will open the door for anyone, though especially for the elderly, women, and for those with obvious physical ailments. That's just basic civil decency. The Apostle commands, "Outdo one another in showing honor"

Showing no partiality in matters of respect and kindness, for St. James writes, "If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself,' you are doing well. But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors." (James 2:8-9)

This is children's Sunday School stuff. It's not even the meat and potatoes of the Christian religion, it's the baby formula of Christian moral teaching intended to help us graduate from our spiritual diapers.

So what I'm hearing here is that if I want equality, chivalry is dead, and if chivalry is dead, that means expressions of chivalry and respect to men is also dead, which means I don’t need to be respectful of men. So I get full rights and am not expected to be nice to men just for the sake of being nice.

I’m struggling to see the downside here.

Ironic because the same so called "feminists" cant define a woman, want men in woman's bathrooms, men to steal women's sports, and preach about male privilege.
You forgot the illegals. And to use the word “woke” or “leftist.” As rants go, it’s not your best effort.

All you continue to do is self-report.

No, women being equal to men does not kill chivalry. That is only happening inside your own head, stop blaming women for your own poor behavior.

Man up.

In general, with fundamental topics on basic access and rights, sure.
Fine then all I am asking is that women in the United States who refuse or fail to register for selective service to be classified as a federal felony, punishable by up to five years in prison and/or a fine of up to $250,000.

Women who do not register will be denied important federal and state opportunities, including Federal and state government jobs, Federal student financial aid and state-funded educational assistance, Access to federal job training programs, Security clearances needed for certain jobs

For non-citizens, women who fail to register will negatively impact eligibility for U.S. citizenship or a green card, as it is considered a sign of lacking “good moral character.”

Finally, a permanent bar for women after age 26. If an individual has not registered by their 26th birthday, they become permanently ineligible for registration and the related benefits.

Now again I ask, do you think women should be treated equally with men? I truly believe that I am the only true "feminist" on this thread because I am the only one promoting women's equality as opposed to woman's entitlement.

Now you are starting to get it. Everything you say is true because that is what men deal with on a daily basis. The caveat would be that if you disrespected the wrong man, expect them to punch you in the face like a man. Do you still think it is a good deal? Some would say, "Equal rights mean equal lefts."

Well then good luck with getting that legislation enacted. Wish you all the best. Probably should work out how a non-citizen can both not belong in the US and need to be deported, but also be required to serve our country’s military first, but hey, you do you.

Now again I ask, do you think women should be treated equally with men?
It may shock you to find out that nothing you have said has changed my mind on women deserving equal rights, yet… Here we are.

You’re certainly promoting something, that’s for sure. I’m just here at this point to see how deep the hole gets.

To an extent I regard it as a moot point, because it is my firm opinion that selective service registration should be entirely abolished. If not, I see no reason that women should not register as well.

How awful. Being completely disrespected in the basis of gender? As a woman, I certainly have never encountered that. What a struggle that must be.

The caveat would be that if you disrespected the wrong man, expect them to punch you in the face like a man. Do you still think it is a good deal?
So wait… When men get disrespected they’re allowed to just punch people in the face? And that’s a completely normal response? And so it would be ok for me to do to somebody who disrespects me?

Some would say, "Equal rights mean equal lefts."
Again, I have zero doubt there is a segment of society who would say that.

Do you think that's what "strength" looks like in a man? Punching somebody over a perceived slight?

Great! That is all I am asking. As another poster said, "Women should be treated like the women they are." Traditional women should be treated in a traditional manner. Modern feminists who demand to be treated equal to a man should be treated equal to a man. Unfortunately, that would require women to make a choice, and you know how much modern feminist love their right to choose, but it will force them to choose to either have their cake OR eat it.

Your female privilege is showing. Yes. If a man disrespects the wrong man, they will potentially get punched in the face and men will stand there and do nothing. Then after you finally regain consciousness, they will call you a moron who deserved it. So, do you still think women should be treated equally to men?

And I said that if you don’t like it, you have my blessing to try and change the law. Go for it. Enjoy. All the best.

Me? I personally would rather just eliminate selective service for everybody, but whatever. This apparently isn’t so much about what I think, but what you think I think, and then being mad at me because you don’t like the scenario you concocted for me, so by all means, carry on.
