Australia's "Planet America" team break down some of Gabbard's confusion here - 4 minutes in this section.
(I've timed it to the bit.)
TLDR: This stuff is complicated, but a Republican would do themselves a huge favour by not just copying and pasting Gabbard's conclusions before double checking Gabbard even knows what she is talking about!
Chaz quotes an explicit example where Gabbard rebuked earlier reports into Russia's tinkering with the 2016 election by trying to show inconsistency in the CIA and other reports. She showed one report's conclusions about a set of emails and data, with a later report that apparently contradicted it - according to Gabbard. Except the second report was about a completely different subject and analysed completely different material!
There's just no good save for this.
Gabbard's team either lack basic comprehension skills or have malicious intent to deceive.
There's no other way around it!
I'll try to remember Jordan Peterson's advice.

And that quote was 2 years AFTER Trump now seems to be saying he shunned Epstein over Epstein stealing Trump's staff - staff that were all notably "on the younger side!"

And I can add lots of outlandish stuff from Biden’s time in office. You can’t ignore that Biden, himself, bordered on being a pedophile, when you consider how he groomed the daughters of his staff in videos of them cringing in fear when he came near, touching them all over and sniffing their hair, and how he took showers with his teenage daughter. That was sooo abnormal that I can’t believe that those fathers never told him not to touch their daughters again, but instead just smiled awkwardly. And it wasn’t just kids of the staff, ANY young woman around him would get the same treatment. So, don’t even suggest that Trump is the pervert.
Can you give me the post number where I said I didn’t know of any outlandish thing Trump said or did, because I’ll go back and change it as I have no problems talking about things he does that make me shake my head and cringe. However, what I believe I said was that I had not heard of this particular incident you mentioned and said I would check it out and agreed it was not a good decision and that I hope he changes it if only because of the backlash. I mean, I agreed with you that it was a stupid decision. I don’t agree that he is any worse than the previous guy that held the office and listed a stupid decision of close proximity to what Trump did. But everyone on the left gives all the leftist politicians a pass for their outrageous behavior and can’t man up enough courage to call them out on their garbage behavior, while insisting we have to be deranged to vote for Trump, who is no worse than his predecessor.

I don't get this. You respond to Trump's obvious faults with what you consider to be other people's faults. How does that excuse what he has done? You are, in effect, accepting that he's done wrong and then go looking for something that someone else has done as if that makes him less culpable!
It doesn't. By any stretch of anyone's imagination. It's pointless me addressing anything at all you say about Biden, or anyone else, because we're not discussing Biden or anyone else. If my wife found out that I'd been unfaithful to her, I can't excuse my actions by telling her that Pete in work was unfaithful to his wife as well. How is that in any well relevant whatsoever?
It's an argument that belongs in the schoolyard: 'Sir, you can't blame me, 'cos he did it as well'. If you don't like coming to terms with what Trump does then I'd seriously suggest that you stay out of any thread that discusses US politics.

Yes. Although when it is less about the individual - and more about claims of systemic issues in parties - then I think I allow "what-about-ism". Because then it is not about excusing an individual's actions by someone else being wicked, but looking at the hypocrisy of condemning certain party actions or policies when the condemner has done exactly the same thing only far worse!
Like those above that said "But Hillary said her election was stolen - so there!"

I respond that way because the left is so hypocritical when it comes to requiring that the right be perfect while the horrible stuff their side of the aisle passes off as normal goes unmentioned. And they do that because they have some misguided sense of superiority even while clinging to the worst practices humanly possible. As long as their two-facedness is on obvious display, I will point it out. If you are requiring me to be perfect, then you bloody well must be perfect, too.
Does Trump act like a child sometimes? Yes, and I will call that out. And I’ll call out something I believe is a bad policy, too. But if someone is so biased and filled with hate that they cannot call out the nasty, nasty stuff their own side does, often to the detriment of the country, THEY are the ones who shouldn’t be in political discussions. THEY are the ones who would rather see the country go down the tubes rather than admit that their guys have problems, too, or, heaven forbid, the other guy has some good ideas.

But here is the thing. By whining about Europe and talking down NATO and being weak before Putin about Ukraine - he might just embolden Putin to overstep some red line in Europe! Who knows where that goes!???

Most of it was facts.
Trump does have NPD, has been convicted and sued for horrible things, does love tariffs even though Adam Smith himself hated them, DID pass the BBB which is dropping 16 MILLION off healthcare, HAS given nearly $1 Trillion a year in tax cuts to the uber rich while cutting these essential services to the poor, HAS previously bent the knee to Putin by demanding Ukraine submit to Trump's deal. "It's going to be great TV!" Because this guy loves to annoy people. He loves their adoration or outright fury - either way it means he is the centre of attention which confirms to his fragile ego that he is the most important person in the world.
Look up NPD. All of this is meeting his need for Narcissistic Supply.
Please - which of these are not facts?
Finally - I agree. The last few paragraphs DID get a bit conspiratorial.
I hope they do not happen.
But when even Australia's Four Corners did a double episode covering Project 2025 - it does make me fear for your democracy.
