You mean the present administration. As you know, even Trump's people admitted that he lost the 2020 election. So did court after court as Trump spun out dozens of lawsuits in a frantic effort to undo the election results. He crossed the line by instigating an attack on the Capitol and by trying to convince a state official to "find" him enough votes to win. Which is why he was impeached.

When did federal judges become part of the discussion? They are not elected officials who create laws.

I’m good with a four year term for congressmen, with a maximum of three terms. Or, since it is now a six year term, two terms max. A constitutional amendment is needed, I’d write to my congressman about it but Schumer is a scum congressman.

And why do you let Trump live rent free in your heads? The world could be so normal but TDS just ruins everything. He’ll be gone in just over 3 years and y’all act as if he’s upending the Constitution (which it was revealed that that’s the left’s intent in another post), but we know it was old Joe who unwittingly was doing that. It’s OK when old Joe does it, but not Trump. I’ll make note of that.

Yes - there is the weird company he both keeps and appoints. In addition to the point above....

Hopefully he gets replaced. I hadn’t seen this, not sure what the council on fitness would do except create gym programs to help kids get fit, but I’m sure it doesn’t involve child contact. The difference between reality and fantasy is h the party who was controlling the deep state and their ability to weaponize the governmental agencies to get their agenda pushed through. That’s changing now. Laws had to be retroactively changed in order to prosecute Trump for many of those cases.

It speaks very clearly as to the type of person that Trump is. He doesn't just continue a friendship with a sex offender, he employs him as a representative of his administration. Couple that with his statements about wandering around young women's changing rooms watching them naked, his recorded boast that he could grab them whenever he liked, him cheating on various wives...let's be frank here. The guy is not someone you'd invite around to meet the wife and kids. Yet so many people think he's a suitable person to represent their country.

I'm never going to be able to get my head around that.

There would be no case if they hadn’t changed the law so he, alone, could be prosecuted. That won’t stand on appeal, either. Had she really been molested, she would have come forward in the allotted time, not wait till the statute of limitations had run out. She is a liar, just like all the other women the left thrust into the fray in the middle of an election or Supreme Court nomination.

Except that you weren't talking about policies. It was 'outlandish things' that Trump has done. You said there were none. I picked one extremely outlandish thing from a few days ago just to show you how easy it is.

I could spend the rest of the week adding to the list. The man has no character. He has no honour. But if you want to talk about his policies and ignore his undeniable faults then take it to a more relevant thread.

How you can justify voting for such a person will always be a mystery to me. He wouldn't last a week in Australian politics.
