I have lost count of the number of times we have discussed this. Isaiah does not say that the earth is a flat disc. He says that the Lord sits upon the circle of the earth, not that He sits upon the earth and the earth is a circle. If somebody says, "The egg of that bird is blue," that doesn't mean that the bird is an egg. Why twist, "the circle of the earth" to mean "the earth is a circle"? Besides, the Hebrew word translated "circle" could equally be translated "circuit", as it is in Job in the AV/KJV:

Job 22:14 Thick clouds are a covering to him, that he seeth not; and he walketh in the circuit of heaven.

So Isaiah 40:22 could be talking about the earth's orbit.

So are you now saying that the earth is not a circle? Yet this morning in post 1757 you wrote: "I didn't say the earth was a circle Isaiah did;" Now you are saying that a circle is curved but the earth isn't. If it isn't curved, how can it be a circular disc, as you have claimed many, many times?

Partly because of the number of times you and I have debated that verse, I have read it many times. Here is the verse again:

Now you tell me, where does Isaiah say that the earth is a circle? He doesn't. He says that the earth has a circle or circuit. He talks of the circle of the earth, in the same way that we talk about the top of the mountain, the driver of a bus, the capital of Wales and the pastor of a church. Just as we don't mean that the mountain is a top, or that the bus is a driver, or that Wales is a capital, or that the church is a pastor, so by his words "circle of the earth" Isaiah doesn't mean that the earth is a circle or a circuit.

But Dean said that the field was flat. Even you have said on this thread have agreed that it is in fact curved, but not much. Also, I have not seen anybody accuse you of being an occultist.

Think - What is a circle, is it not curved ? Does this make the earth curved like a ball ? No

I wasn't arguing that. I was saying that you, who have repeatedly said that you believe the earth to be a circle, said in post 1765: "a circle is curved but the earth is not." I am trying to see how you can believe that a circle is curved, and at the same time believe that the earth is a circle, but the earth is not curved. That just doesn't make sense at all. If circles are curved, and if the earth is a circle, then the earth must be curved. Whether the earth is a circle or a sphere, it must be curved, because circles and spheres are curved shapes.

Can you quote the post where Prodomos accused you of being an occultist? I haven't seen it. I have even tried searching for the word "occultist" limited to the user name Prodromos. There were three results, two from months or years ago, and not referring to you as an occultist, and the latest one where he actually answered your accusation. That was Post 1772 on this thread, where he wrote: "Cultist, not occultist."

Yes a circle is curved which is the shape of the of the overall earth but that doesn't mean the earth actually curves when upon it, like it doesn't curve when we travel across it - Comprendi

The only human being who has been perfect and never made a mistake, was Jesus The rest of us are flawed human beings who sometimes get things wrong. Most of us know this and know full well that we, and others, make mistakes. When we make mistakes, most people are happy/ willing to admit it.
To accept everything that someone else says, refuse to question it and not able to accept that he might be capable of making an error is blind devotion and much like the unquestioning behaviour of cult members.

You once said that nothing would ever make you accept a globe earth. You later said that id Dean came back from Antarctica and said the earth was a globe, you'd accept that.
So you would even give up your beliefs if this man told you to.
