Maybe I could spend some time explaining the difference between the two tragedies. One being caused by economic difficulties, extreme weather conditions plus intermittent fighting, although a 'truce' has been in place for two years. The other being the deliberate bombing of civilians. Maybe you should start a thread and we can discuss this:

I’m the one who brought it up, bringing the crisis to light. So I seem to care more than you or any other member here who claim to care so much about empathy and compassion.
