Hopefully the former - I don't know the exact numbers. There are way too many PACs to track. Is that an exaggeration, or a confabulation?![]()
I'm beginning to be concerned about your fixation with this. 2/3 of the people I've talked to are not sure that it's healthy. I don't think I've known someone complain so much about an election that they won. I guess it's lucky that you didn't lose. Heaven knows what the psychological impact might have been on some people.Actually, I'm in the superior world of Mac computing. So if I were hitting any key combination, it would be Cmd + C.
Oh hey, did you know that more than 2/3 of Democrats believed that Russia tampered with votes to help Trump win in 2016? I think that's because the media ran around using dubious catchphrases, such as "Russia hacked our election", "The election was STOLEN!!!" and "Trump is an illegitimate President." Do you think that's why people wrongly believed votes were tampered with, or do you have another plausible, alternative explanation?
I don't think I've known someone complain so much about an election that they won.
I get this a lot. So many people spend such a large amount of bandwidth denigrating the Democrats and supporting everything that Trump does, excusing his all-to-obvious faults, handwaving away his monstrously ridiculous statements and rejecting any attacks on his credibility, his character, his misogyny, his lies etc and then, when they've spent all this time supporting Trump and cheer leading the GOP, they say 'What me? A supporter? Heaven forbid!'What makes you think that I "won" in 2016? You must suffer from short-term memory loss, because I am certain that I've explained to you on more than one occasion that I am a registered independent and I've NEVER voted for Trump in any election.
I get this a lot.
So many people spend such a large amount of bandwidth denigrating the Democrats
and supporting everything that Trump does,
excusing his all-to-obvious faults,
handwaving away his monstrously ridiculous statements
and rejecting any attacks on his credibility, his character, his misogyny, his lies etc and then, when they've spent all this time supporting Trump and cheer leading the GOP, they say 'What me? A supporter? Heaven forbid!'
When you're ensconced in the GOP camp, waving the GOP flag and throwing rocks at the opposition then you will be treated as a supporter of said group.
Yes. And if someone denigrates the Democrats or their supporters and/or their policies and praises what the Republicans do, then I'll treat them as a supporter of the GOP.Do you really?
Yes. And if someone denigrates the Democrats or their supporters and/or their policies and praises what the Republicans do, then I'll treat them as a supporter of the GOP.
And yes, some people are truly bemused by that.
It won't.How does or will any of that change whatever findings the department of intelligence uncovers?
In this thread, which is the only one that is relevant right now, you are denigrating Democrats. You can't cat-call one side and then act surprised if someone points out that your case is supporting the opposition. So again, could you point out where I've "praise[d] what the Republicans do"?
Great to hear!I agree with you that I don't think either election was STOLEN!!!
Yeah - the term 'stolen' is typical of political drama.but Democrats tried their darnedest in 2016 to convince people that was the case
Um, yeah, as I said.... both parties are exactly the same!, and Republicans did the same in 2020.
Of course she did. How sad that this is seen as somehow unique? It happened again on a (MUCH) smaller scale in 2024. But to Harris' credit, she told people to accept and honor the election results
So the ODNI has completed their investigation and is finished with disclosure? It won't.
Because there's nothing to 'uncover' - they're releasing the ALREADY DISCREDITED text of an old, boring report from Donald Trump's last brain-blurt about the tired old RIOC.
Why do I have to explain this again and again and again?
Unless you are referring to something else? Isn't this the very same report!???
Durham report vs REALITY
Please watch this interview with CIA Russia specialist Michael Van Landingham. I have timed it to the spot where he answers 2 VITAL questions:
1: Was Landingham's report influenced by the Steele Dossier?
2: Did the report claim the Russians hacked voting systems?
NEWSFLASH: Steele is M16 - and for some reason felt compelled to rush his dossier out to the public.
Michael Van Landingham is CIA, highly qualified, highly disciplined, and did his own homework and released it when ready. Sure - there was some pressure to release it in a fairly short amount of time. That can happen in intelligence. But his claims were measured according to the data.
He did his own homework, and the answers to the above questions are:
1: No
2: No
The whole foundation of the Durham report is a house of cards - and this re-releasing of it will blow over the way it did the first time. Others have already evaluated it - and it is beyond a joke. It's out there with "The moon landing was faked."
Yeah - the term 'stolen' is typical of political drama.
But influenced? That's undeniable. That happened. That's a FACT!
Indeed, even though it is hard to measure, hacking and leaking Hillary's emails at just the right time may have cost her the election.
So where Hillary had some solid, publicly verifiable FACTS about her election being influenced - Trump had nothing.
And he incited violence at the Capitol, 5 people died, and the rest is history.
But Hillary never chanted "Stop the steal!"
Kamala never chanted "Stop the steal!"
Neither had Fox news repeating their utter LIES about these matters!
They had 'mainstream news' reporting FACTS instead.
In this thread, which is the only one that is relevant right now, you are denigrating Democrats.
Who is that guy? Here's an interesting article on this topic:
In sum, corroboration for the assertion that Putin developed a “clear preference” for Trump before the election included one item that was backdated and too early, one that was post-election and too late (and meaningless nonsense besides), and not one that was just right. If there’s such a thing as a no-hitter in intelligence, Brennan’s team was on the losing end of one in this ICA, which failed to produce one reliable fact supporting the idea of Putin “aspiring” to help Trump out of a “clear preference.”![]()
In Brutal Document Release, the Russia Hoax is Finally Exposed
Official claim that Putin "aspired" to help Trump was based on four pieces of evidence, all bogus, even "ridiculous," according to long-suppressed report just released by DNI Tulsi Gabbardsubstack.com
Oh man - I hear you. I've just been through all this SO BAD with another commentor that repeatedly and rather obnoxiously reverts to one line posts like...I get this a lot. Reposting the same thing over and over is called spamming. As far as the investigation goes, until it's completed, deciding how it's going to end up is speculation. No - but so far they have not released ONE counter-factual.
If anything - there are a few subtle debates over how influential certain events were - but nothing overturns the events themselves.
Russia tried to swing the election Trump's way.
Depending on how important we think the Clinton Email's being released just at the wrong time for the Democrats - they may have in fact done so!
Also - I LOVE posting the Durham report critique - because the Durham report is what they are releasing the text of. And all I have to do is go to the Durham report wiki and YouTube and it's all been covered extensively by other agencies and journalists!
As in - YEARS ago!
You should know this.
People commenting here should know this.
But hey - if you want to pretend Gabbard and the DNI actually have something - by all means - find it. Post a paragraph or two! Let's have a look. Because banging on about the Steel Dossier and exaggerated untrue claims about what the Democrats said about hacked voting systems are all Durham had.
