Nine major Trump people indicted, convicted, or pleading guilty. Mueller said that he didn't indict Trump because the Justice Department opposed indicting a sitting president. He pointedly said that the investigation did not clear Trump of criminal acts.
It remains true that Trump's reluctance to release even redacted copies of the Epstein files feeds the continuing controversy over what he was doing with Epstein on those trips.

The Teflon Don. He isn't the first. And yes, he pardoned the loyal criminals that Mueller caught. They didn't rat him out, and he rewarded them. But Trump is still a convicted criminal. And that, unless the Epstein papers actually incriminate him for things he and Epstein did on his island, will be his legacy. The first American president to be a convicted felon. Not even Nixon had that dishonor.
It's what every criminal says when caught; "they all do what I did." Trump is no different.
