A few points on the Sabbath.

  1. Jesus observed the Sabbath as was His custom, according to Luke 4:16. No mention of Sunday.
  2. Jesus called Himself Lord of the Sabbath. according to Mark 2:27. Jesus claimed the Sabbath with His utmost authority. No mention of Sunday.
  3. Jesus mentions Sabbath observance at the end of time when tribulation begins. Matthew 24:20. No mention of Sunday.

If we are to believe that the Sabbath is another day of the week, other than the commanded seventh-day Sabbath, then surely Jesus would have clarified the new day during His ministry, but He did not; He called Himself Lord of the Sabbath.

If we are to believe that Sunday became the new Sabbath post-crucifixion, then the apostles would have been observing a new day, but the book of Acts records them observing the Sabbath numerous times. Paul, as his manner was (Acts 17:2), observed the Sabbath, proving the point that nothing in Paul's writings negates the Sabbath whatsoever.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ (a revelation given Him by God the Father, according to Revelation 1:1-3) would be the place in scripture to tell us from heaven that the Sabbath is now Sunday. Instead there are statements like Revelation 14:12, which defines the patience of the saints as keeping the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, and Revelation 22:14-15 that calls for commandment keeping, referring to the Ten (of which includes the Sabbath).

Conclusion: Jesus is consistent concerning the Sabbath. Nowhere does He specify another day. The apostles were consistent with the teachings of Jesus and observed the Sabbath, and Peter was among them.

The OP's video is spot on concerning the change of Sabbath to Sunday.

This above is all you should of said. And sadly it is what you should of said from the start. But no, all you mentioned was the problem not the solution. You said, "Not according to Jesus. . .and nowhere stated in Scripture. . .we are slaves to sin (Jn 8:34). . .slaves are not free. . .can we choose to be sinless?"

The answer is yes we can choose through God's Spirit.
Who in Christ is now living sinlessly. . .in thought, word and deed?

Should one's lack of faith make the Faith of God of no affect? God forbid! Let God be true and very man a liar.

I only know the word says that Jesus said, we who commit sin are a slave to it and if the Son should set us free, free we are indeed.
This freedom Paul also alludes to as being accomplished. In Romans 8 He says that Jesus has set us free from the Law of Sin and death that the righteousness of the Law be fulfilled in us who walk after the Spirit and not after the flesh. This Law of sin is disclosed in chapter 7. There Paul through the Spirit states, For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. And saying this He states that it is no longer him , but the sin that dwelleth in Him. He then says this is a law and says that this law is that when he would do good evil is present with Him. He delighted after the Law of God in His inner most being, but this other law, that while he wanted to do good he couldn't, and the evil he did not want to do, that he did was warring against the Law of His mind, the Law of God and it was bringing him into captivity, to this law of sin which was in his members. Thank God the Lord has set us free from this Law of sin and death that the righteousness of the Law be fulfulled in us who walk after the Spirit and not after the flesh. For if we walk after the Spirit we will die. But if we through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the Body we shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Rom 7:19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
Rom 7:20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Rom 7:21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
Rom 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
Rom 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

So why does John talk about our sinning and confessing our sins (1 Jn 1:8-10)?
