I was brought up out of Atheism in 1972 by TV Evangelist Garner Ted Armstrong.

I used to be one of those Atheists who was so angry that I talked Christians into becoming an Atheist like me.

In 1972 I heard TV Evangelist Garner Ted Armstrong explain The Soul Sleep Theory and my number one problem with the Jesus who was preached by Dr. Billy Graham was addressed and I began to study the Bible and within a few years I began to pray.

In 1979 I was baptized by immersion at the Worldwide Church of God in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

By 1991 I knew that I could no longer fit in with the Worldwide Church of God because the near death experience account of Dr. George Ritchie convinced me that the Soul Sleep doctrine was terribly flawed and in error.

I actually suggested to the new Pastor in Halifax that he should probably disfellowship me due to the issues that I was finding out about.

Since then I have been led to mostly be led by Charismatic Catholic and Pentecostal pastors and evangelists.

These past six years have been exceptional due partly to the online courses by near death experiencer Kevin Zadai Th. D.

It is as if my human spirit or soul, [my mind, will and emotions], have been fried, barbecued, roasted, toasted and boiled by the Holy Spirit as I took more and more of his online courses and listened to his sermons that he gave all over the USA and the world.

I hope you come to some resolution about the various theologies you have taken in over many years. To be honest, I'm not sure we have a section for the Worldwide Church of God, though they seem to be related to the Seventh Day Adventists. I found this post to be informative: The Sabbath. Personally, I'm just glad that you accepted the Gospel and are walking with the Lord Jesus. That is, for me, the most important thing. I hope you are able to feel His presence in your life and connect with others who believe as you do.
