Give thanks to God that two Christian converts who were locked in an Egyptian prison and held for three years without trial have been released. Pray for continued protection for Abdulbaqi Saeed Abdo and Nour Girgis.

Pray for the many Christians in Egypt who find themselves displaced to other parts of the country as a result of the oppression they face. Pray for Release International partners who seek to help them to re-establish their lives while continuing to serve God in their new locations.

Pray that converts to Christianity will find safe ways to share their new faith with family and community.

Pray for new believers from a Muslim background in Egypt, who can face severe repercussions as a result of their conversion. Pray that they will quickly be able to find fellowship with others who can help them to grow in their new faith.

Please pray for the many Christians who are daily wage earners in the impoverished areas of Egypt in which Operation Hope works. As well as facing societal discrimination they, like other Egyptians, struggle with the challenging economic conditions.

Please pray for God’s blessing and protection over our partner, Operation Hope, as it deals with hugely difficult situations faced by the Christian families it serves.
